I would have said scanned, but if what you've been uploading is just photographed from your phone, then I would say it's probably doing a good enough job, because I would have thought they were scanned, haha. The last time I tried photographing drawings I felt like the results were much worse than scanned quality, but that was also probably like 10 years ago, and your phone's camera is probably significantly better than what I was using then.
