yes! because you can't take goot pictures with just your camerabody and one lens. you need several filters and lenses otherwise you're screwed in special situations.
nope. i'm fine with my minimalistic stuff and still can do great pictures. real talent comes from you and not your stuff.

- yeah i use it and i love got get critics. it's pretty usefull
