Pokemon: Love Knows No Size - Chapter 13

,The audience applauded the performance by the Chipmunks and Chipettes as well as the antics of the clowns.Chrissie: (giggles) Those clowns were funny. Don’t you think so, Claire?Claire: (chuckles) They certainly were.Ashley: I think it was a fitting song those Chipmunks sang.Sir Gabriel: I agree, m’dear. Especially since it’s a clown’s job to make people laugh.Ash: What’d you think, Molly?Molly: (giggles) I’m really enjoying the show so far.Teddiursa: (nods) Ursa.Phanpy: (nods) Py.Caren: Oh yeah. I weawe wike the ciwcus, too.Ash: (smiles) Oh good.Serena: (to Caren) Well, I’m glad you’re enjoying it, sweetie.Caren: (smiles) Thanks, Auntie S’wena.Both the giant princess and her unofficial niece shared a hug as the circus continued. There were various Pokémon acts, tightrope walkers, jugglers, hoopers, among others. The audience, including the royals and giants, enjoyed what they were seeing.Stella: (smiles) And now, ladies and gentlemen, our very own trio, the Three Stooges, have a new act which they’ve been practicing a good long while, and they hope you’ll enjoy it. So here they are, the Three Stooges!As Stella leaves the center ring, we see Curly and Moe dressed in dirty clothing appear on opposite sides of the center ring. Curly looks at Moe happily, while Moe has a mad look on his face.Curly: Hiya, pal!Moe: (approaches Curly) You call me pal? Why I haven’t heard that word for years. Y’know, bub, I was once a tramp like you.Curly: (extends a hand) Oh, congratulations!Moe: Ah, but it wasn’t always thus. I can look back to the days of yore when I was a very happy married man. And one day, that rat came and destroyed forever all the happiness I’d ever known. I’ll never forget that day. I just came home from the graveyard shift, and there was that note on a pillow.Curly: What did it say?Moe: Oh, it was one of those coldblooded notes: “Dear Moe, I’m running away with Larry. Don’t try and follow, you’ll never find us.” I was obsessed with the idea that I must find ‘em. The trail led me to Paldea. I found that I’d missed ‘em by three days when I got there. And I swore right there in Paldea I’d find ‘im and have my revenge. Now on the chase; Alola, Kalos, Galar. And then I came face to face with the rat that had ruined my life. It was in Tohjo Falls. (dementedly) TOHJO FALLS! Slowly I turned… Step by step… Inch by inch… I walked right up to ‘im and I smashed ‘im (smacks Curly in the cheek), I hit ‘im (smacks Curly in the forehead), I bonked ‘im (punches Curly in the stomach), I mashed ‘im (punches Curly in the forehead), I tore ‘im to pieces (rips Curly’s shirt), and then I knocked ‘im down!Moe’s last punch knocks Curly to the ground.Curly: Oh! (gets up and holds Moe’s shoulder) Take it easy, bud. Take it easy.Moe: (relaxed) Sorry, kid. It’s that word, “Tohjo Falls”. Every time I hear it, it tears me apart! (walks off a little)Curly: (looks at his shirt) It don’t do me any good either! (brushing off his shirt) Ungrateful, that’s what it is. How d’ya like a guy like that? I say, “Hello, pal”, sorta friendly, but when I say “Tohjo Falls” ...Moe: (dementedly) TOHJO FALLS!Curly: (worriedly rubs his face) Woo-woo-woo-woo-woo-woo-woo!Moe: Slowly I turned…Curly: Please no…Moe: Step by step…Curly: Mmm!Moe: Inch by inch…Curly: No, please no…Moe: I smashed ‘em, I hit ‘em, I bonked ‘im, I mashed ‘im, I tore ‘em, and I knocked ‘im down!Curly is knocked to the ground once again.Curly: (gets up again) Take it easy, pal, please take it easy, now.Moe: Ohhh, it’s that woman. I’ll kill her and him!Curly: Blood?Moe: (madly) Yes! Rivers of blood, pools of blood! (laughs wickedly) The blood!As Moe walks away, having his wicked and demented fit of rage, a scared Curly brushes himself off again as Larry bumps into him.Curly: Oop! Pardon me, pal!Larry: (turns to Curly) Did you call me pal?Curly: Nyah-ah!Larry: It’s been a long time since I heard the word pal!Curly: You too? Haven’t you got any friends either?Larry: That’s what I was comin’ too, the dirty rat. He tried to take her away from me. Ahhhh, but he couldn’t get away with it. So, he trailed me…Curly: To Paldea?Larry: (in wonder) Why, yes!Curly: (gulps) Then you went to Alola, Galar, and Kalos?Larry: Yes, yes!Curly: Nyah-ah-ah!Larry: But how did you know?Curly: (mischievously) You’d be surprised. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk. (lays on the ground, patting it) And then he caught ya in Tohjo Falls.Larry: (dementedly) TOHJO FALLS!Curly: Woo-woo-woo-woo-woo!Larry: Slowly I turned…Curly: Please…Larry: Step by step…Curly: Not that, no…Larry: Inch by inch… (pulls Curly back up) I picked ‘im up, and I smashed ‘im there, and there, and there, and then I ripped his shirt, and then I knocked ‘im down!After a series of punches similar to how Moe did it, Larry knocks Curly to the ground.Larry: What have I done? Blood! The judge! BLOOD!!!Curly gets back up as Moe re-enters the scene.Larry: (notices Moe) You!Moe: (dementedly) Ah, there you are, Larry!Both: Why, you…They begin to approach each other in a demented state before shaking hands in friendship.Both: Hiya, pal!Moe: (chuckles) I almost caught up with ya in Paldea.Curly: Go ahead. Tell ‘im where ya found ‘im.Larry: Forget it, it’s past history!Both Moe and Larry start to walk away.Curly: Why you cowards. You’re afraid to say Tohjo Falls.Moe and Larry: (dementedly) TOHJO FALLS!Curly: (scared) Nyah-ah-ah! Woo-woo-woo-woo-woo-woo!Moe and Larry: Slowly we turned…Curly: (steps back a bit) Nyah-ah-ah! Don’t do that. No, not that…Moe and Larry: Step by step…Curly: (backs away) Nyah!Moe and Larry: Inch by inch…Curly runs away with Moe and Larry chasing after him off the center ring, which led to laughter from everyone in the audience and thunderous applause as Stella, who was chuckling herself, re-entered the ring.Stella: (smiles) Weren’t they great, ladies and gentlemen? (chuckles) Well, I hope you’re all prepared to have some real fun, because we’ve saved the absolute best act for last. Please give a grand and glorious noise for our star magician, the marvelous, magical, and mystically beautiful Giselle, and her phenomenal feline Pokémon!In a puff of pink smoke, Giselle and her cat Pokémon magically appeared in the center of the ring. The crowd roared wildly with excitement, even louder than they ever did for the previous acts. Giselle smiled proudly as she waved to the cheering crowd and gave a few bows, her cat Pokémon following her lead.Giselle: Thank you one and all! I am loving the sound of your praises! You’re all too kind!Some boys in the crowd were going all fanboyish over her.Boy 1: WE LOVE YOU, GISELLE!Boy 2: YEAH, BABY, WE LOVE YA!Giselle: (giggles) I love you, too!Giselle blew them a kiss, which made them go even wilder.Serena: (whispers) Hope those boys won’t be disappointed when the circus has to leave.Ash: (whispers) I know what you mean. (chuckles)Of course, Giselle hadn’t heard what the royal couple said as she began her act.Giselle: Now, for my first trick, I shall need my cat Pokémon to enter my hat. (takes off her hat and turns to her Pokémon) Ready, friends?Meowth: Meowth!Liepard: Liepar!One by one, the cat Pokémon jumped down into the hat. As soon as they had all gone in, Giselle placed her hat back on her head.Giselle: Now watch how my kitties find their way back out!Giselle reached into her sleeve and pulled out a large white silky cloth as big as a bedsheet. She threw it up in the air and let it gently float back down to the ground.Giselle: Wait for it…As soon as the cloth hit the ground, Giselle slowly lifted it up and right underneath it appeared Alolan Persian. The crowd exclaimed in amazement. Giselle lifted the cloth some more revealing Liepard on top of Persian. Then she continued to lift the cloth revealing Alolan Meowth on top of Liepard and then Glameow on top of Meowth. Finally, she tossed the cloth aside so that everyone could see her cat Pokémon having reappeared stacked on top of each other.Giselle: Voila! Bet you all didn’t know that my hat is full of surprise passages!The audience cheered and applauded at Giselle’s trick.Caren: Wow! She’s amazing!Chrissie: Oh yes. She must really be magical, huh, Claire?Claire: That indeed appears to be the case, sweetie. (chuckles)Giselle: Now you’ve all heard it said that laughter is the best medicine, right? Well, for my next trick, one lucky person in the audience is gonna get the special Giselle laughter treatment! Let’s see… who will it be?Giselle silently scanned the audience until she set her eye on Delia.Giselle: Aha! (raises her magic wand) Alakazam!Giselle shot a beam of magic dust from her wand which hit Delia right in the throat, which surprised her and Mimey very much. Thankfully, it didn’t hurt a bit. For a moment, there was silence, as nothing seemed to be happening.Mimey: Mime?Ash: (notices) You okay, Mom?Delia: I’m fine, but nothing seems to be happening.Lillie: Maybe it didn’t work?Gladion: Well, if it didn’t, then I guess Giselle isn’t really all that powerful…Before Gladion could finish, Delia suddenly began to giggle. Her giggling started out soft, then it began to gradually grow louder until finally, Delia erupted into a full-on belly laugh, and it was the most beautiful laughter anyone ever heard. Even Ash was amazed.Ash: Wow! I didn’t know my mom had such a beautiful laugh!Pikachu: (nods) Pikachu…Molly: Guess the trick worked after all.As Delia continued laughing, she began to float off the ground. As an unexpected surprise, her clothes magically came off, revealing a beautiful blue one-piece swimsuit underneath. Now the crowd was even more astonished, especially Ash, who blushed heavily at the sight of his mom surprisingly looking this attractive. Delia twirled around happily as she floated in the air. Then she flew around in circles and then did a couple of somersaults before stretching her body in an attractive way, all the while continuing to laugh beautifully. Then, as a climax, she began happily shooting upwards towards the sky.Delia: Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (giggles)Soon, she disappeared into the sky, leaving the crowd in stunned silence.Ash: MOM!Serena and Chrissie: MRS. KETCHUM! Molly: AUNT DELIA!Mimey: MR. MIME!Their respective Pokémon joined in calling out to Delia. From where they were standing, the Chipmunks and Chipettes had seen the whole thing and were worried.Giselle: Not to worry, everyone, I know how to bring her back!Giselle took off her hat and reached into it. Then she pulled out a miniature Delia who was still in her swimsuit.Giselle: (raising her wand) Sim sala bim!Giselle used her wand to magically restore Delia to her regular size and height, and the relieved audience gave enthusiastic cheers and applause.Delia: (sighs with relief) Oh, thank goodness.Giselle: (to Delia) Say, that outfit makes you as beautiful as me!Delia: (blushing) Why, thank you!Just then, she spied Ash, Molly, Pikachu, Teddiursa, Phanpy, and Mimey, who was carrying Delia’s clothes, racing over to greet her.Molly: Aunt Delia, are you okay?Ash: We were worried about you, Mom.Their Pokémon nodded in agreement as Delia smiled.Delia: Oh, I’m fine. I just had the happiest time of my life, almost as happy as when I got married to your father, Ash.Ash: (smiles) Well, that’s a relief. (hugs Delia)Delia: (hugs Ash back) Thank you, honey. (sighs happily) Oh, I’ve never felt so wonderful in my life since I married your father!From where they sat, Chrissie and Caren breathed a huge sigh of relief.Caren: I’m gwad Unca Ash’s mama’s okay.Chrissie: I am, too, Caren.Giselle smiled at this happy scene between mother and son. Then she turned back to the audience.Giselle: And now, for my final and absolutely biggest trick of all, I’m gonna make something spectacular appear before your very eyes!The audience murmured in anticipation.Giselle: But to pull it off, I’m gonna need a little help from the giants!Claire, Chrissie, Caren, Ashley, and even Serena looked at each other in surprise.Serena: (calls to Gieslle) All of us?Giselle: You’d better believe it! The way this trick’s gonna work, it will be a lot easier to do with giants instead of having so many volunteers from the audience.Caren: Oh, I’m so excited!Chrissie: C’mon, Claire. This’ll probably be fun!Ashley: Well, I’m certainly game.Caren: Pwease, Mama?Claire looked at her daughter, her sister, then to Ashley, and Serena.Claire: Well… (smiles) Let’s do it!Chrissie and Caren jumped up and down in excitement.Chrissie: Oh, Giselle? Are Remy, Jr. and Teddy allowed to be part of the act?Ashley: Oh, yes. And Sweet and Sour as well?Serena: And don’t leave out my Pokémon as well.Giselle looked at the giants’ Rockruff, Ursaluna, Flapple, Appletun, and all of the Princess’s Pokémon in thought for a moment.Caren: Pwease, Ms. Gisewe?Giselle: (smiles) Oh, well I can’t say “no” to such an adorable toddler, now, can I? Alright, the Pokémon can be part of the act, too.This made the cheerful Chrissie and Caren cheer even more as the five giantesses and their respective Pokémon made their way to the center ring, while Ash, Molly, Delia and their own Pokémon returned to the audience.Bonnie: Gee, I wonder what kind of trick Giselle has in mind for the giants.Clemont: Beats me, Bonnie. But I’m sure it’ll be something amazing.Before long, the five giants stood before Giselle.Giselle: (to the audience) Alright, ladies and gents, prepare for the greatest spectacle I’m about to pull off right in front of your faces. I can assure you it will be a spectacle to remember! Ready, giants?Serena, Chrissie, Claire, and Ashley: Ready! Caren: (at the same time) Weady!Giselle: Then here we go! Let’s make some real magic!Giselle picked up the cloth and threw it into the air once more. This time, she used her wand to fire a beam at the cloth, shooting it up towards the sky. Once the cloth reached a high enough distance, it floated down towards the giant sparkling with gold dust as it gradually grew as big as the giants themselves.Serena: Wow!Ashley: Oh my!Chrissie: Amazing!Claire: I think I know what she wants us to do!Sure enough, the giants each grabbed a side of the cloth as it finally reached them.Giselle: Now, giants, whenever you’re ready, place the cloth down as gently as you can, and then let my magic do the rest.Serena: Okay.Caren: Oh, I can’t wait!The five giants did exactly as Giselle instructed them to do. As they lowered the cloth toward the ground, they noticed it becoming visibly filled as if it was covering something. They all gasped in astonishment.Caren: Did you see that, Mama?Claire: Yes, honey, I see it!Chrissie: What could it be?Ashley: We’re about to find out, I bet.Serena nodded as Giselle smiled knowingly.Giselle: Rise sesame!Getting the message, the giants lifted the cloth and underneath it was… the biggest, most colossal and gorgeous galleon anyone had ever seen.Caren: (amazed) Whoa…Chrissie: (astonished) Oh, wow…Claire: My goodness.Serena: What a pretty galleon.The audience exclaimed in awe at the sight of the beautiful ship. As they applauded and cheered, Giselle grinned eagerly, indicating that she had another surprise in store.Giselle: If you think this is beautiful, wait till you see what will appear in its place! Giants, cover the ship, please.Serena: Okay, then.Once more, Serena, Ashley, Claire and Chrissie pulled the cloth over the ship, just as Giselle had instructed them to do.Giselle: Once again… RISE SESAME!The giants lifted the cloth again, and underneath it was… a giant Dragonite! It was around Claire’s height.Ashley: Oh… My… Gosh! A Dragonite!Almost immediately, an excited Ashley went and hugged the giant Dragon and Flying-type Pokémon, who immediately hugged her right back. Chrissie and Caren joined in on the hug as well. Where the Chipmunks and Chipettes were sitting, they were amazed at seeing such a big Pokémon.Theodore: That's the biggest Dragonite I've ever seen.Eleanor: That's for sure.Ashley: (in baby talk) Aw, you’re such a cute Dwagonite, aren’t you? Yes, you are. Yes, you are.Dragonite smiled as she continued hugging the giants that were hugging her. Giselle giggled at the touching sight.Giselle: I take it you like this surprise, Ashley?Ashley: Oh, I love it! Dragon Pokémon are some of my favorites.Serena: I can confirm that, after hearing her talk about it. (winks) Plus, she’s got Sweet and Sour as well.Sweet: (nods) Appletun.Sour: (nods) Flapple.Many members of the audience thought what they saw was both amazing and adorable to watch. And Dragonite seemed to enjoy the attention she was getting. Soon, the crowd erupted into the wildest and loudest cheers and applause yet, and Giselle turned to happily bow to them and blew lots of kisses.Giselle: Thank you so much! You’re such a terrific audience! This truly has been a magical event, (blushes with pride) and I think your admiration has made it even more magical! Various audience members: Aw…A few other audience members chuckled a bit, both warmly and in amusement.Caren: Did we do a good job of hewping you with youw magic, Ms. Gisewe?Giselle: You certainly did, Caren. (winks)Caren: (smiles) Oh, I’m gwad.Chrissie: Me too. In fact, I’m so glad, I’d like to give you something in return, Giselle.Giselle: Oh? What’s that?Without another word, Chrissie picked up the female magician and gave her a hug.Chrissie: It’s a hug, to show that we’re now friends. (smiles)This took Giselle by surprise, as she had never been hugged by a giant before. Though she had to admit, this hug felt nice. Especially because Chrissie was taking special care not to squish her so hard. This inspired the magician to hug the sweet giantess right back. Just then she had a thought.Giselle: Um, Chrissie? Would you bring me over to Ashley, please?Chrissie: Oh, yes, of course.Chrissie then carried Giselle in her hand over to where Ashley was still hugging the giant Dragonite.Giselle: Say, um, Ashley? You say you love Dragon Pokémon, right?Ashley: Oh yes.Giselle: Well, um… How would you feel about allowing Dragonite here to stay with you?Ashley broke away from hugging Dragonite, not sure that she heard right.Ashley: Say that again?Giselle: I said, would you like to have Dragonite stay with you?This news was surprising to the giant maiden.Giselle: You see, caring for this Dragonite hasn’t been easy, as you can imagine. And Stella said that we’d eventually have to let her go somewhere. And seeing as you and the other giants live here in Happy Valley, I think it’d be better if Dragonite stayed with someone who can really take care of her.Sir Gabriel: (comes up) I think that’d be fair. And hey, she looks big enough for you to ride her Ashley.Ashley looked at Dragonite from head to toe. This Dragonite certainly looked big enough for her to ride on.Ashley: Would you like that Dragonite? You wanna be my Pokémon?Dragonite purred happily, waving her wings up and down a little bit before hugging the giant maiden again, who returned the hug.Chrissie: Awww… What do you think, Claire? (pause) Our castle does have plenty of room for her.Claire looked from her sister and daughter, then toward Ashley and Dragonite, who looked hopefully at her.Claire: (smiles) Sure.Ashley’s happiness was beyond words as she and Dragonite hugged each other even more. Serena and Eevee smiled at this scene, as did Chrissie, her Pokémon friends, and Caren. And from where they sat, Ash and Molly were happy for the giant maiden and the giant Dragon Pokémon as well.Molly: Isn’t that sweet, Ash? Now Ashley can have a Pokémon she can ride on, too. Just like Sir Gabriel, and some of our friends.Ash: Yeah. Ashley and Dragonite make a fine pair. (to Pikachu) Right, buddy?Pikachu: (nods) Pi-Pikachu!

,The citizens of Happy Valley couldn’t help but stare in amazement. Ursula had somehow grown into a giant herself. She stood 30 ft. tall and had managed to stitch together various clothes as a top and a skirt of sorts. She stood there with her hands on her hips, looking rather smug.Ursula: Hello, people of Happy Valley. Enjoying yourselves? Forgive the strange fashion statement, but all my clothes seem to have shrunk, so I stitched them all together.Near her bare feet were her Gabite, Jigglypuff, Plusle and Minun.Bonnie: Oh my gosh!Clemont: She’s gigantic.At the castle where the giants lived, Ash and the others who looked out the window were surprised.Serena: What is it? What’s out there?Lillie: Serena, I’m not sure how, but Ursula’s somehow become a giant herself.Serena: What?Eevee and Serena’s other Pokémon were shocked.Queen Grace: Oh dear. So that’s why Ursula stole Giselle’s book.Alvin: Giselle’s book?Brittany: What book?Delia: Giselle, the circus magician, mentioned that Ursula stole something from her when she ran away yesterday. Called the “Book of Spells and Potions”.Gladion: I guess we now know what she stole it for.Simon: Well, this kind of makes her a hypocrite, given her opinion on giants.Jeanette: From what I can see, it looks like she’s 30 ft. tall.Chrissie: 30 ft.? Isn’t that how big I was when you first met me?Ash: (nods) Right.Pikachu: (nods) Pika.Molly: Oh, what should we do?Sir Gabriel: I think we should go and see what she’s up to.Claire: You lot go ahead. Nurse Chrissie, Dr. Remy, Jr. and I will stay here and care for the Princess.Ashley: Oh yes, of course, Claire.Ash: Nurse Chrissie, we’re counting on you Dr. Remy, Jr. to do your best to look after Serena.Pikachu: (nods) Pi-Pikachu.Chrissie: (salutes) You can count on us, Ash. Right, Dr.?Remy, Jr.: (barks affirmatively)Meanwhile, over in the area where the circus performers were residing, they too could see the now 30 ft. Ursula. Among those who came out to see what was going on were Stella, Giselle, Bea, and the Three Stooges.Three Stooges: (surprised) Nyah-ah-ah-ah!Stella: What on earth?Bea: She’s huge!Giselle: She must have used my book of spells to come up with one that would make her reach that size! (to Ursula) I might have known you’d steal it for such a reason! You’re not only a horrible, selfish brat, you’re a total colossal monstrosity of a person! And you had the nerve to call me a witch!Bea: (restrains Giselle) Giselle, cool it. She can’t hear you from our area. She’s in the middle of town.Machamp: (nods) Machamp.Curly: Hey, Moe, I don’t like this.Larry: Yeah, suppose that girl comes over here and stomps us flat.Moe: (jeers) Ah, what’sa matter, ya scared?Larry: No, just apprehensive.Moe: Oh. (does a double take) That’s a mighty fancy woid. What's that apprehensive mean?Larry: It means you’re scared… With a college education.Moe: Oh, you’re pretty smart.Larry: (smiles) Oh, yeah.Moe: (holds out a hand) What’s that?Larry: That’s a hand.Moe: Good. (balls hand into fist) What’s that?Larry: That’s a fist.Moe then punches Curly in the eye.Curly: (in pain) Oh!Moe: (to Larry) What was that?Larry: A punch in the eye.Moe: Right. (punches Larry in the eye)Larry: (in pain) Oh!Giselle: Well, I’m going into town and give that brat a piece of my mind!And before you could say, “Let’s start the show!”, Giselle headed straight towards town, intent on not only dealing with Ursula, but also getting her book of spells back. She then saw that the giant maiden Ashley was headed in that direction from the castle of the giants.On Ashley’s shoulders sat Sweet, Sour, Sir Gabriel and Lancelot. In her hands were Queen Grace, Delia, Mimey, Grand Duchess Lusamine, Gladion, Lillie, and Snowy. Meanwhile, Ash, Pikachu, the Chipmunks, and the Chipettes rode close behind on Latios, while Molly and Teddiursa rode on Charizard.Ursula then saw the people coming towards her. Those who saw Ashley made sure to stay as clear as possible so that the giant maiden had lots of space wherever she stepped.Ursula: (smugly, to Queen Grace) Well, hello, Your Majesty. (curtsies, to Ash) And to you as well, Your Highness.Ash: Don’t “Your Highness” me, Ursula. What have you done to yourself?Ursula: (models) Isn’t it obvious? I made myself bigger than your Princess with a potion from a book I found.Voice: Found?!Everyone looked and saw a very ticked off Giselle stomping her way into town.Giselle: Found?! That was my book of spells and potions that you stole from me that you used to make yourself a giant, all after you derided this valley’s giant residents yesterday! You wanna know what a real witch is? It’s a disgraceful, selfish, prejudiced, abominable attention-seeking tyrant like you!Brittany: (to the others) What is she, a dictionary?Ursula: Oh, spare me your speeches. I’ve no use for them. (throws something to the ground) Here, take your book back. I’ve no use for it anymore. Now with my new height, the people of Happy Valley will be sure to love me more than their precious princess! We don’t love the Princess just because of her size. We love her for her kindness and generosity.Mallow: (steps forward) That’s right. So, what if Princess Serena’s a giant now? She’s still the same Princess we loved before. And still do!The other citizens shouted in agreement. Seeing them also jeering at her made Ursula angry.Ursula: Hmph. Y’know what? Fine. Keep loving your Princess for all I care. Just find some way to shrink me back to my original size and I’ll leave… Never to return. (folds her arms)All the while, Giselle picked up her Book of Spells and Potions. Upon hearing that Ursula wished to be her original size again, she quickly looked through the pages to see if there actually was such a potion. Unfortunately, there was nothing that said anything about shrinking someone.Giselle: Hmm. As I suspected. My spell book has nothing in here about shrinking people after they’ve grown giant.Stella: What? Are you sure?Giselle: Positive. As they taught me in magic school, “What has been grown cannot be reversed.”Well, Ursula happened to be listening to what Giselle was saying.Ursula: (to Giselle) What… Did… You… Say?!Giselle: Are you deaf? I said, there’s no shrinking potion, because what has been grown cannot be reversed! Maybe you should’ve read the whole book before going along with this stupid idea of yours!Ursula balled her hands into fists and shouted into the sky.Ursula: (to Queen Grace) This is all your fault!Queen Grace: (offended) I beg your pardon?Ursula: If you hadn’t had an affair with a giant, all this wouldn’t have happened in the first place! Now look at me! I’m a freak, like your daughter! Or like her! (points toward Ashley)Ashley gasped at such accusations from Ursula.Molly: You're a big meanie! No wonder you don't have any friends!Teddiursa: (nods) Teddiursa!Sir Gabriel: Don’t you dare insult my maiden, young lady!Lancelot: (points leek) Sir-Sirfetch’d!Sweet: Appletun!Sour: Flapple!Ash: Dare you dare talk to the people like that, Ursula! Judging people based on their looks or even their background are the words of a bigot!Pikachu: (sparks electricity) Pika-Pika!Giselle: My sentiments exactly, Prince Ash!Bea: Besides, you have only yourself to blame for your predicament!Ursula: Why? Because I’m ambitious? Because I deserve the adoration of people who see me?Stella: It’s that kind of attitude that has barred you from setting foot or even trying to perform in my circus!Ursula: (stomps her right foot down on the ground) Don’t you dare talk down to me! I deserve everything I…!But before she could go any further, Ursula fell to the ground on her side. She seemed to be acting like her body was going through something.Ursula: (tears up) What’s… Happening… To me?!The tone in her voice had changed dramatically; she wasn’t acting all high and mighty anymore. Her Pokémon went over to her, concerned for her wellbeing.Grand Duchess Lusamine: Oh my…Ashley: Claire! Come quickly! We need your help!From the castle where the giants lived, Claire heard Ashley calling out to her.Claire: Oh no…Little Caren walked up to her mother.Caren: Mama? What’s wwong?Claire: You and your Aunt Chrissie stay in the house, Caren. Understand me?Caren nodded, knowing it was better to listen when her mother was like this. Claire immediately stepped out and quickly but carefully headed over to where Ursula fell.Claire: Hmm… (crouches down) Tell me what’s wrong.Ursula: (weeps) It-It’s my body… It’s hurting all over… Please, make it stop.Ashley: Claire?Claire: Tell me what happened.So, Ash and the others recapped what happened to Claire.Claire: Mm-hmm… Giselle, is there a side effect of that potion she used on herself?Giselle: Let me take a look. (looks quickly through the book) Ah! Here it is. Warning: The potion will cause the person to continue to grow and grow until their body eventually gives out and… And…Chipmunks and Chipettes: And what?Giselle: (gulps) And dies.Everyone gasped upon hearing this.Giselle: Unless… Molly: Unless what?Giselle: Unless they take an elixir from a special flower that grows in the mountains that will stop the growth process all together.Ash: Sir Gabriel, that sounds like the flower we need to find for Serena!Sir Gabriel: Hmm… Ashley, put me down so I can look at that book.Ashley: Oh yes, of course.After Ashley put Sir Gabriel back down on the ground, he looked at the picture of the flower in Giselle’s book of spells and potions and looked at the picture of the flower in the book he found.Sir Gabriel: Yes! They’re an exact match.Bea: Well, I have to say, while I’m all for helping the Princess with her growth spurts, I’m on the fence about helping Ursula here.Giselle: (folds arms) Well, I would be tempted to think and say that Serena needs that flower more than that brat does since Ursula brought it on herself and deserves to die because of it… But I refuse to give into that temptation and make myself out to be no less scum than her. I mean, I do care about human life just as much as you all do.Stella: Well, I’m very proud of you, Giselle. Sure, you may tend to be somewhat arrogant yourself sometimes, but I know that deep down, you do have a heart that’s near as big as a Wailord.Giselle: (blushes) Oh, well, thanks. (chuckles)Ashley: While I’m still insulted by her calling me a “freak” ... I cannot just ignore the pain that both she and the Princess are going through.Sweet: (nods) Appletun.Sour: (nods) Flapple.Sir Gabriel: That’s what I love most about you, my dear. You may be taller than most, but you have one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know.Ashley smiled as she picked up Sir Gabriel and gave him a hug on her cheek. The Happy Valley citizens who saw this thought it was heartwarming.Ursula: (to Claire, weeping) Please, help me… I’m begging you…Claire: (sternly) After you insulted my sister, I won’t deny that I feel tempted to let you die from these growth spurts you’re experiencing right now… (changes her tone) But I can’t bring myself to do that, as it goes against my views as a born-again Christian… And as an older sister for Chrissie… And a mother to Caren.Ash: Same here. I still don’t like you, Ursula. Nor do I like what you’ve done… But I’m sure Serena wouldn’t want you suffering like this.Molly: Yeah. It just wouldn't be right.Pikachu and Teddiursa nodded in agreement.Serena’s voice: You’re certainly right about that.Everyone turned and saw Chrissie carrying Serena in her arms, Remy, Jr. still in her shirt pocket, and Eevee riding on the Princess’s shoulder.Claire: Princess? Chrissie?Ash: How long have you been there?Serena: Long enough. Claire? Please don't be upset with Nurse Chrissie. I asked her to bring me here.Eevee: (nods) Eevee.Claire: Of course not. (places a hand on Chrissie's shoulder) After all, I could never bring myself to be upset with my little sister for that long.Chrissie: (smiles) Thanks, Claire.There was a long silence before Ash spoke up.Ash: I guess our mission is clear. We need to go to the mountains to get the flowers to help stop Serena and Ursula’s growth spurts as soon as possible. Nurse Chrissie, are you okay with carrying Serena the rest of the way?Chrissie: (smiles) Absolutely, Ash. Dr. Remy, Jr. and I’ll help make sure she gets plenty of love and hugs along the way. Remy, Jr.: (barks affirmatively)Ursula: (thinks) How can they go along with her make-believe like that? Are they crazy?Ash: And Ashley, guess this means you won’t only be carrying Sir Gabriel and your Pokémon friends, but also carrying Ursula in your arms.Molly: That won’t be a problem, will it, Ms. Ashley?Ashley: Absolutely not, dear. Besides, I’ll be sure to carry the medicine to help ease the pain of their growth spurts in my dress pocket the whole way.Stella: Just how long will this quest take?Sir Gabriel: We just have to hope we find those flowers on the nearest mountains from here. Otherwise, the quest could take a long time.Giselle: Is there anything we can do to help?Serena: (pause) Maybe keep the population of Happy Valley entertained until we come back?Giselle: (pause, smiles) I think we can keep them occupied, no sweat.Bea: (smirks) I agree.Moe: That’s right. You can count on us!Larry: Come what may!Curly: Ad infinitum!Once more, the Stooges put their hands together as they said those words, though they did a double take upon hearing what came out of Curly’s mouth.Claire: Ash, Serena… Sir Gabriel, and Ashley… I still have reservations about my sister going out with you… But I also know that you’re more than capable of looking after her in my place.Ashley: Of course, Claire.Sir Gabriel: We understand.Claire: That’s why before you leave, I will help to prepare you all for the trip.Delia: And so will I. After all, you can’t very well leave without something to eat along the way.Molly: Thanks, Aunt Delia.Theodore: Oh yes, we’ll definitely need food.Alvin and Simon: Oh, Theo.But the Chipmunks chuckled to each other.Simon: And I’ll be sure and keep track of their growth spurts the whole way. (salutes)Queen Grace: I know you will, Simon. (pause) Thank you all for doing this. It means a lot not only to me, but to the citizens of Happy Valley as well.Sir Gabriel: Absolutely, Your Majesty.Lancelot: (nods) Sir-Sirfetch’d.And so it was that our heroes began to prepare for the long trek up the nearest mountain where they hoped to find the growth spurt stopping flowers. Ashley picked up Sir Gabriel and Lancelot, placing them on her shoulder. And then she helped pick up Ursula, while her four Pokémon rode along with her.Ashley: Now, since you’ll be joining us, I want you to understand something. There is to be no complaining about the care we give you, no high and mightiness from you, and absolutely no, I repeat, no insults out of you whatsoever.Ursula: (in pain) At this point, I really don’t care anymore… I just want this pain to stop. (weeps)Ursula knew she had no choice. She knew she needed help and had to accept it from the very people she insulted. Meanwhile, Queen Grace turned to address her citizens.Queen Grace: Everyone, until Ash, Serena, and their friends return from their quest, I’ll need volunteers to help keep the peace in Happy Valley.Gladion: (steps forward) I volunteer, Your Majesty.Lillie: (follows) As do I.After this, the Queen saw Lana, Kiawe, Mallow, and Sophocles stepping forward.Kiawe: I wish to volunteer my services.Lana: Me too.Mallow: Me three.Sophocles: I wanna help, too.Queen Grace: (surprised) Are you sure you wanna do this?Mallow: Absolutely.Kiawe: When Lillie told us about you wanting people to join a team of knights under Sir Gabriel’s command, we talked it over and decided you would need all the help you can get.Lana: I can put my skills as a Water Pokémon specialist to good use.Sophocles: And I can put my skills as a blacksmith apprentice to the test.To show they were serious, the four humans and their Pokémon bowed in respect for the Queen, who could only smile. Gladion and Lillie couldn’t help but smile as well.Gladion: I think it’d be an honor to have you guys on such a team.Lillie: And so would I.Queen Grace: Indeed. We’ll talk about your team later, once the quest for those flowers is over.Glaidon, Lillie, Kiawe, Sophocles, Mallow and Lana: Yes, Your Majesty.Queen Grace: And when they come back, Stella, you and your friends may show us your circus.Stella: Absolutely, Your Majesty.And so, after a day and night of preparing, our heroes were ready for their quest the next morning. Chrissie and Remy, Jr. were still dressed in their nurse hat and doctor’s lab coat attire as the sweet giantess cradled Serena in her arms, with Eevee and Serena’s other Pokémon along for the ride.Ashley of course had her two Pokémon friends, Sir Gabriel and Lancelot on her shoulders, and cradled Ursula in her arms as well, with Ursula’s Pokémon riding on top of their trainer. Both Serena and Ursula had been given the medicine to ease the pain of their respective growth spurts, but as before it didn’t taste good.Ash, Pikachu, Lucario, Molly, Teddiursa, the Chipmunks and Chipettes rode on Latios, while Ash’s other Pokémon rode on Charizard.Claire: (goes down to one knee) Be safe, sweetie.Chrissie: (smiles) Don’t worry, Claire. We’ll be back soon. Right, Dr. Remy, Jr.?Remy, Jr. barked in reply as Caren came over to her aunt.Caren: Auntie Chwissie? Wemy, Jw.? Auntie S’wena? Come back soon. I wove you aww vewy much.Chrissie: (smiles) And we love you, too, Caren.Remy, Jr. barked twice before giving Caren a lick on the cheek, making the toddler giantess giggle as Serena blew a kiss to her unofficial niece.Serena: I’ll be sure and give you a real hug and kiss when we return, sweetie.Ash: We both will.Caren: Goodbye, Auntie Chwissie, Uncwe Ash, Auntie S’wena. Goodbye, Mowwy, Chipmunks and Chipettes.Molly: G'bye, Caren.Alvin: See ya soon, kiddo.Brittany: Be good to your mommy, okay? (winks)Caren winked back. Then she walked over to where Ashley stood.Caren: Um, Ms. Ashwey?Ashley: Yes, dear?Caren: Um… M-May I caw you Auntie Ashwey? And Uncwe Gabwiew?Ashley was surprised by this, and so was Sir Gabriel. A toddler giantess asking them to be her unofficial aunt and uncle as well? This brought tears of joy into Ashley’s eyes as the giant maiden crouched down and allowed Caren to give her a hug.Ashley: Oh, honey, I’d like that very much.Sir Gabriel: And I as well, m’dear.Lancelot: (smiles) Sirfetch’d, Sir.Sweet: Apple-Appletun.Sour: Flap-Flapple.Caren: (smiles) Thank you, Auntie Ashwey, Uncwe Gabwiew. I wove you both vewy much.Ashley: And we love you, sweetie.Sir Gabriel: Hear, hear.Unknown to them, Giselle watched this exchange and couldn’t help but shed a tear herself. It just seemed so beautiful and cute at the same time. Just then, Claire picked up her daughter.Claire: Caren, it’s time for your aunts and uncles to leave now.Caren: Okay, Mama. Goodbye, evewyone. Come back soon.Chrissie: Don’t worry, Caren. We’ll be back, and that’s a promise.Ashley: Absolutely.The others all spoke affirmatively to this statement. All citizens and circus performers who could, came to see them off.Ash: Don’t worry everyone. We’ll be back soon. And our visitors will be free to show their performances to us upon our return.Pikachu: (waves) Pikachu!With that, everyone cheered as the travelers set off on their quest.Queen Grace: I pray that they’ll be successful.Delia: Don’t worry, Grace. If their past adventures are anything to go by, they’ll be back before you know it.Moe: (to Larry and Curly) C'mon, fellas. Let's start practice our third act idea for when they come back.Larry and Curly: Right!With that, the Three Stooges headed back to the circus grounds. Just then, some Pokémon could be seen flying through the sky. It was Gladion, Lillie, Lana, Kiawe, Mallow, and Sophocles, and they were riding Noivern, Altaria, Dragonair, Charizard, Flygon, and Metang.Caren: Wow! Wook, Mama, wook. (points upward)Both Caren and Claire watched the show that was put on.Gladion: Everyone, salute!With that, the Pokémon let out some attacks into the sky - Gladion's Noivern's Draco Meteor; Lillie's Altaria's Dragon Pulse; Lana's Dragonair's Ice Beam; Kiawe's Charizard's Flamethrower; Mallow's Flygon's Fire Blast; and Sophocles's Metang's Flash Cannon. Ash and the other travelers looked and saw what was going on. Ash soon realized it was a send-off from their friends, wishing them good luck on their journey to find the flowers.With one last look behind them, our heroes headed off to where the nearest mountain stood. And hopefully, the growth spurt stopping flowers that Serena and Ursula desperately needed.
