I'm Proud Of You

Piper was meeting her mother in town for a day out. She was trying to keep a low profile as she recently won one of the longest and most treacherous races and was the first woman to win it. It was a four day slog fest through the treacherous mountain roads of India. But the reward was worth it. Now having returned home to Oregon, she met her mother Katie for lunch on Mother's Day.

"I'm proud of you," Katie said. "Not just of winning in India, but of all you've accomplished." The tough tomboy blushed.
