This design started with a tessellating pattern created for laser engraving 17 glass panels in an entertainment wall. The latest version adds smokey rings to wireframe spheres interacting with the tessellation and each other in a predictable yet irregular manner. They may invoke the absorption of Emerson's transparent eye or more ominously, those of Dr. T. J. Eckleburg- amid the ashes of eroding worlds. Or the same time-lapse world awash in periodic waves of disruption. Or nothing more than a linear toccata to amuse the beholder.
The above explanation started innocently enough, but quickly descended into an exercise in pompous overkill resulting in the murder of any interest and/or joy that such an image may have once been able to impart. But being based on tessellation, it can take from its creator as much crap as the faithful have from theirs and still survive if not thrive. And so the object outgrows its maker.
