Sometimes my images can be confusing. Sometimes they look like they don’t go far enough. Both reactions come from the same place. The images look close. Bodies are visible, sometimes naked, sometimes meeting the camera directly. From the outside, it can feel as if the next step is missing. But there is no next step. The work is not built around escalation. It doesn’t move toward access, payoff, or resolution. Nakedness here is not a signal. It’s not an invitation or a reward. It’s simply a state the body exists in. Nothing in these images responds to being watched. Nothing adjusts itself to the viewer’s desire. You are not here not because you are excluded, but because nothing in this world requires your presence. A lot of this approach is probably shaped by where I’m from. In a German context, exposed bodies are not automatically erotic. They can be clinical, functional, everyday, or simply present. Visibility does not imply consent to be consumed. There is also

I often use far out sci-fi outfits in my images. But to be honest, there is not much that can beat the simple elegance of a slip and a tank top. A robot suit holds conceptual power. It signals control, transformation, otherness, intention. It says this body is curated, designed, mediated. It speaks to my love for systems, interfaces, distance, and the erotic charge of machinery and restraint. A simple outfit is powerful for the opposite reason. It creates biological immediacy. It signals vulnerability, softness, access, reality. It says this is just a body, right here, unarmored. No lore required. No abstraction buffer. Simple clothing lets the finer details shine. Posture, skin, gravity, fabric tension, breath. I think people who are drawn to extreme concepts often also love minimalism, because both are deliberate choices. Neither is accidental. The system touches the body lightly, just enough to be felt. The eye and imagination of the viewer fill in the rest.
