Painted Bird

This is the last one of my old college paintings. (Unless I find more in the garage)

I remember being really happy with this one, but looking at it now, the texture is kinda eh. That said, it's probably the best one out of the four.

I did the bird before the background, and asked the teacher what to do for it. He said something dynamic. So I tried these stripes. I really didn't like it, but the did. I figured I'd just redo it later, but never did.

If I ever pick up painting again, I really want to learn various techniques. Or maybe find some of my favorite painting styles and try to find out how they made them.
