Some of you may have noticed my growing interest in a certain not-Poland Eastern European country of late, well several months ago I was scanning YouTube for Bulgarian cartoons when I found the first of only three Bulgarian animations I've ever seen: The Snowman's Dilema. The second was the East Europe equivalent of the Three Stooges, the third looked like a Martian civilization as seen by NASA if all of it's employees were tripping on LSD and if the Martians were Italian Opera singers in colourful spandex living in a modern art painting, but I'm trying to repress that memory so let's not go into detail.
Snowman's Dilema is a silent Soviet-era short about a little girl and her pet terrier who befriend a magical snowman, and like most Bulgarian stories it has a corrosive effect on hopes and dreams. For the longest time I'd thought that this was the only cartoon Bulgaria had ever produced and so I thought it strange there were no symbols or traditional dress that would've hinted at it's country of origin. I wanted to revamp it so that there was no mistaking what it was, even going so far as to decorate the girl's costume with the red, green, white and optional gold of the Bulgarian flag and turning her terrier into a Karakachan puppy. Oh! And the snowman's hair is made from hay. The little girl gave him the costume to wear after he came to life, in case that was bugging anyone. And the flower is crocheted yarn. The eyebrows? Uhm... fuzzy caterpillars. Big ones. I should probably stop agonizing over magical snowman physics and move on to the next project now. xD

I totally like and love all of your drawing animations, especially of the new and old care bears and cousins you made and from the real ones together also with Kimba the lion with the rest too!!!!
