(she has a heart butt, how couldn't I?)BACKGROUND INFO:
The result of a science experiment a long time ago, where cloning genes for a human, bird, some reptile, and unidentifiable species mixed accidentally. The resultant species was kept to see how the would develop and grow, and once 'born', they were raised until young adults in the laboratory. However, once they reached this rebellious age, they became impatient and didn't like being held captive, and found a way to escape. Since then, they have grown their own societies high up in the mountains, where they've developed and evolved quickly due to early mutation brought on by the accidental gene mixing (these easy mutations also allow things that wouldn't normally be considered normal to grow on the species at random once born, there is wide variation of what could occur, though the mutated genes are hard to pass on to further generations as they are usually recessive). They have strong limbs, all of which have opposable digits, and are skilled climbers. Their strong lungs allow them to breath well in high altitudes where there's only thin air, however their huge lungs have resulted in their hearts being pushed out to the front of their chests. Gem like protrusions sprout from random areas on their bodies, however they will always have a gem covering the heart. The heart gem is covered by the organic feathery hood at the front, and though they are mostly very docile and friendly creatures, they defend the gem fiercely. Nowadays, Plumadra are known as little more than myths - only those who have climbed the highest mountains and are very observant have ever really spotted them.
