Dear DA friends, here's a little life sign from me [EMOTE] I'm not spending much time on social media these days, as I find it too time and energy consuming with all the complicated real life stuff happening. I am a self taught artist from South Africa, that just immigrated to the USA. I work predominantly in pen and ink and I especially like to work using fountain pens. I also started to dabble in Photography as I am always on the lookout for reference material.

Inkblot-splatter May Challenge

The May challenge is 3 fold this time round, you may choose to do 1,2 or all three of them any order you would like.
The three challenges are as follows:
Draw a Vitruvian man.
Draw a Vitruvian woman.
Draw a box of matches from life.
I know that the last one has me pretty interested as you can make it as simple or as complex as you would like. Try spilling a few matchsticks around the box if you feel up to a real challenge.

And for everyone taking part, have fun. The rules are below.
1) The finished piece must be completed in the month of May 2023, the deadline is 31 May 2023.
2) Any media is allowed as long as the majority of your piece is done in ink.
3) You must tag your piece with the name ”inkblot_splatter_challenge”
4) Lastly post your piece in the folder indicated for the challenge.

Don't worry guys I know I'm a bit late for this inktober. Life is happening at breakneck speed around me at the moment but I should at least get a few drawings done. I'm itching to get started.
