I am a lover of the natural world, especially with smaller creatures. Insects, Arachnids and reptiles are my greatest interests, and I aim to use my phone's and surface's cameras to show the world that natural beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. I also enjoy TF and TG art and stories. This is not a fetish type interest, more just a curiosity that something so impossible can be imagined and then brought to 'life' so vividly by so many people. I am also an avid Rail enthusiast and trainspotter!

If you wish to use any of my train pictures, go right ahead! I cannot claim them as my own because they display liveries and branding of both operating companies and manufacturers. All trains and their colour schemes belong to those companies, not me, and I won't claim the photographs of them myself neither.

I am also a Volunteer at the Secret World Wildlife Rescue centre in East Huntspill, Somerset, England, UK. The charity certainly accepts and appreciates all public support!

So, Roadchef was an awful employer, that worked me to exhaustion and lied about my hours, pay and provided barely legal working conditions. So, I left my job there, and am now working as a Delivery Driver for Domino's Pizza.

After having this job for a couple of weeks, I have found myself really enjoying it. I have also identified my stomach problems and they have been treated for the time being. Sorry for falling silent again.
Right, an update. My mystery illness has been rather incapacitating for months now, and at last proper investigations have started. Seems I have an acute infection of the stomach and other potential problems to be confirmed by later tests.

I also now have a job! I work at Roadchef Motorway services three days a week, so I am being kept busy. I hope to keep this corner of DeviantArt as active as possible! Thanks all my watchers who have not stopped watching.
Ever wondered how to track trains across the U.K (and not just the passenger ones)? Check out the following websites to track trains real time across the U.K:

realtimetrains.co.uk provides lists and real time service reports for both passing and stopping trains for free. Also has a pay-for-use Android app.

opentraintimes.com is the same as RTT but has a maps feature as well as slightly more information for free.

traksy.uk allows the user to observe signal block maps across the U.K rail network which update constantly in real time and what trains are in them as well as providing real time data in a similar format to RTT and OTT(trains displayed by headcode, however).

freightlocate.co.uk is a pay-to-use service (£25 a year) that provides a massive level of detail beyond RTT or OTT including operator of service and unscheduled reporting.

railcam.uk is a mainly pay-to-use service (£15 a year) with some basic features available for free. It provides access to remote cameras in real time to watch the railways working across the U.K in high quality, and has access to signal block maps with headcodes shown in a manner similar to Traksy. Unlike Traksy, Railcam's maps only show moving / running services and not other services sat in the various signal blocks.

raildar.co.uk is a free service with account-only options that provides very inaccurate but workable real-time GPS tracking of services and can provide historical service information as well.

uksteam.info is a great site that provides an often-updated list of all steam locomotive tours in the U.K, with locomotive allocations and timetables both provided.

Interesting. Minerals are a display that our planet is made up of beauty even in the ground. I was on holiday recently in Italy and visited a collection of minerals and fossils in a museum that had been set up in an abandoned school. There were some beautiful stones there unearthed by the nearby geographical upsets of Mt. Vesuvius. :D

I shall take a proper look once I am able. I have been very busy this week with Uni and a trip today to visit a friend living in Worcester (who also photographs trains) and it has been a very long day. :)

They are great photographs! But then, I really like the European continent's railway rolling stocks so I am a little biased... 😂

I have just started a new folder in my gallery for images taken of railways abroad, and will be uploading some stuff to it from last Christmas when I visited family in Germany. If I get a chance to explore other parts of Europe, are there any stations or lines you'd recommend for great shots and variety?
