it blew the hat right off my head as it went by.... in the world of science fiction, hyperdrive is considered to be faster than speed of light travel.

This was a long exposure taken after sunset about 75 feet from the building where I work.

Excellent. A futuristic insight.
I wish you could provide composition information. Help for a senior beginner.
Thanks

Nice. You must have good trypod, so that the cam didn´t move with the long exposure, when train was passing by :)
Good job

oh it definitely vibrated but maybe everything was vibrating at the same frequency :] (i believe i was holding the tripod down to the ground manually, it was like hurricane force winds)

awesome! the speed of light ;) great lensflare effect! must have been very hard not to overexpose the picture! or did you later out in the lens-flare?

Thats funny, I was gonna call it "the speed of light" but I felt like the millenium falcon connotation more suited me. I didn't have much say in the matter once the train started gunning towards me and the ground started shaking, I just kept everything on a relatively dark setting cuz I didnt really have enough time to diddle with the iso/ev once the train came into sight. I shoot in RAW+jpg and the jpg was a little teeny bit overexposed but I was able to pull everything you see out of the raw with no difficulty. btw thank you
