I wished for those cold, translucent arms to be yours, for you to materialize or something. I wished to taste your lips again, to hear your melodic voice. 11/11/11 11:11 and I wished for the impossible, I wished for the decaying body in the cemetary, to be mine again. I wished something selfish and morbid. I just want to feel you again. I can sit here all day and wonder, but now it's clear. What am I if not only partially here? I'd take Hell over this Purgatory. I'm stuck. I sit still when I could easily fly. Who am I if not just a public nuissance? I lurk in the shadows, I don't mean to frighten you. How I long to be like you. How I long to hold the hand of a lover. Why can't I move on? I'm getting along better with my mother.  I feel like I'm walking on eggshells though, and I think she is too. Sometimes eggshells need to be walked on to show that they're there, because if you ignore them and just let them sit on the floor, skirting around them expertly whenever you can, one day you're going to forget to turn the lights on and get stabbed in the foot.
