My Bio

I am a photographer in search of old abandoned rural buildings to save them in my photo's

I'm having technical problems with my online connection so I might not be on for long periods of time until service techs come out to my place to see what's going on ( which means this coming Thursday)...wish me luck...Steven

Strange artist's...

Recently a DA member commented on one of my photo's first saying it was a good picture but why so grainy...I commented back explaining when you use high speed film and a zoom lens you will most likely get grain (which I wanted with this photo)... Next comment was can you adjust ISO...I replied I'd not ever done that but I had read that some photographers do this... Another comment was of a technical nature explaining how to adjust ISO with a digital camera and on and on...so I asked myself why is this person asking about adjust ISO when they already know about it's uses...I replied that they presumed that I had not wanted the slight grain

Your grayscale photos (with high contrast for maximum detail), to me, are reminiscent of Stephen Gammell's artwork for 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark'. Of course, that's probably true for my entire generation. Do you...like...the Evil Dead movies?
