Steampunk Spider Sculpture with Tanzanite glass

This is truly a masterpiece. The abdomen's shape really mimics the real thing well, right down to the curve inwards where silk would come out, if this were alive. The spider's head section's gilded look give this piece a beautiful finish. The color scheme of metals also matches well with the steampunk theme, and the wires curved to look like hinges on the legs add to it as well. The detail gone into the head section truly brings out the arachnid nature, down to the mandibles.

The only thing that I can think of that may need improvement is the shape of the legs. Look at this image here:

Notice how the legs get thinner as they go down? The midsection of these legs seem a little too thick around the middle. Otherwise, this creation is looking great <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
