Mallou walked along the cold dark streets of a little town, carrying home a basket of goodies and materials for her latest project. As much as she loved traveling, she does miss her little bakery she calls home so dearly. Mallou decided she needed a day off though, so closed the bakery earlier today. She needed to restock some items anyways, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. It didn’t take long for her to reach her home. Her pink bakery, decorated just like a sugar cookie. She looked at the sign at the door, reading its contents. “Mallou’s Cookiery Closed! Sorry!” Mallou sighed, almost wanting to flip the sign to open to work once again. Yet, she needed a break, and knew her friends would lightly scold her for working too much. However, she gently smiled, having a little idea to make her feel like she was working. Starlight looked upon the waters of Meteor Lake, seeing how the waves gently hit the shore line. Walking along the shore towards their new home, pleased with how their little safe place had come out. The place they called home was a little cave they found, and built upon near the ocean, closest to home. Starlight walked into their own home, opening the door into the cool and dark home, turning on the lights. The soft lights lit up along the cave, showing a soft and cozy place. The place was littered with blankets, pillows and bookshelves filled with seashells and trinkets. They had collected a bunch of shells earlier in the day, wanting something from the lake. The Nautipod held the precious shells close to them, going up to a slightly empty shelf, placing them neatly. After setting up their collection of shells, they turned to their small pillow corner. The warmth of a familiar pink bakery surrounded Starlight, as they approached the door. They gently opened it, having the soft heat hit them. The gentle heat wave had a sweet and savory scent, signaling the Nautipod that their friend was very much busy with their job. Yet, despite hearing the pans and baking trays being moved around, the sweet sugary Crook called out to her friend. “Starlight sweetie! What a surprise that you are here!” Starlight had a soft smile and walked towards the counter, watching their friend approach in a rushed manner. “Mallou… It is nice to see you too. I came to check up on you, after seeing the… frenzy your bakery had.” Mallou gently laughed, turning her back to pack some goods for pickup. “Ah yes… I had the honor to teach people how to bake. Though…” Mallou drifted off in thought, looking at the large amount of orders needing to be fulfilled and delivered. The star-like Nautipod walked along the dark path, collecting the few wisps left from the hunt of the Long Night. They sighed as they guided the small wisps into one of the lanterns he carried. They soon spotted the familiar lantern stand, with the Whick collecting the wisps into their own lantern. The Nautipod walked up to her, as they waited for the other skireans to leave. The Whick looked at surprisement towards Starlight, looking much more relaxed then before. “Oh! I wasn’t expecting you to be back so soon. What’s the matter?” Starlight hesitated to speak, before deciding to do so. “Well… um, I have wisps for you. Many were scattered at my friend’s bakery. So I brought Paganini’s and my lanterns.” Suteo had a soft smile, before taking the lanterns from Starlight. “Thank you Starlight, I hope they didn’t cause you too many problems.” As Suteo emptied the lantern, Starlight shook their head. “They were calming for me… I don’t know about the others though.” “Ah. The two friends walked on the little pathway, looking at the night sky being filled with wisps. They travelled along the path back to the bakery. Soon they spot a few wisps in their path, with Paganini happily walking up to them. Gently lifting his lantern up to them, as they went inside. Starlight quickly followed him, as they watched the wisp make their home in Paganini’s lantern. The wisps glowed a white color as Starlight looked up ahead, spotting quite a few more wisps in the area. “Paganini… Do you think they are swarming her bakery? There’s quite a few of them now…” Paganini looked at Starlight, his hat gently swaying in the wind as he quickly looked up. He spotted the many wisps floating along the path, smiling slightly. “Perhaps, though now we can have Mallou with us no?” Paganini walked over and caught a few more wisps. “Besides, they are harmless in nature. I am sure that couldn’t cause too much trouble. We have to bring the fun to her if she can’t come to the fun, no?”

As the two skireans walked away from their sugar cookie themed friend, they walked along the dark path, with the Nautipod feeling nervous about what was ahead of them. They noticed a large stand filled with many skireans, lanterns and chatter. Paganini lit up in excitement as he walked faster towards the colorful and bright display of colors. Upon reaching the counter of the table, they spotted an odd creature they had never seen before. They had an orangey and purple hue to them, with the fur looking like they were made out of wax. On Top of their head was a little flame that matched the bigger flames around their ankles and wrist. Their waxy tail had the same color flame flicker, behind them. The Whick looked upon them tiredly, noticing that they were new to the area. “Welcome young ones… care to help me tonight?” Pagnini nodded as he leaned on the counter, with Starlight tilting their head at the tall Whick. “Of course, my dear spooky and tired friend! A pink Crook walked along her little bakery hanging up little decorations as she went. She wore her little witch’s outfit that was themed around a sugar cookie in its design. She carried her little cookie-shaped bag filled with the little Halloween decorations and candles to be lit around in her own home. Mallou hummed happily as she placed the clothing over the tables, with the candle holders at each table in the dark. As the last table was set with silverware, plates, the special candle, and the spooky decorations, Mallou lit the match against the box, glowing a red ember. Soon she walked around the tables, lighting the special wax candles. The blue and green flames lit the bakery with a calming teal hue, signaling that it was a place of safety and warm treats for all of the skireans. Mallou gently smiled, seeing the sight and her work. She looked towards the door of her bakery, watching the little colorful wisps floating in the air. She soon turned towards her kitchen, cleaning up

Mallou sighed as she looked outside of her window, inside of her little kitchen, baking her delicious sweet treats for the upcoming long night. She carried the previous batch of cookies and placed them on the counter, walking over to adjust her little costume she created by herself. She wore a dress, similar to a witch’s outfit, however it was pastel in color. It had fake sprinkles along the robe, wearing an apron on top of the outfit. She picked up her little witch’s hat, mimicking a donut with a strawberry for the cone, and placed it upon her head. “I know Starlight wanted a witch theme within the group… I hope my costume is just what they wanted!” Mallou looked at herself in the mirror, gently laughing to herself about her worries. “Why am I fussing over my outfit?
