(Full title: Tolkien-Style Map Brushes: The GIMP Edition!)

Obviously not by me; they're just converted and brush-ified (with permission from :iconcalthyechild:) from [link] and [link] .

So yep. Stick them in the brushes folder and...have fun!

Thanks for converting these great brushes! GIMP brushes are hard to find and I don't yet know how to convert ABR. Used these for a map that will go in book 3 of a fantasy series. :)

Top right corner has a button called "Download" right under "Add to Favorites". That should do the job.

Yay! This should make it easier for me to make that map I want to XD I had no idea what symbols I was going to use for everything, haha.

I have a question: Does GIMP has an Option for brushes to kill every color behind it, like in Paint.net or similiar programms. I tried do make some mountains, but I had the problem, that the lines of mountains that are in the back look through the ones that are in the front.

How can I download these brushes for gimp without downloading and installing all the other junk that I don't want on my computer?

For some reason though, although I like this brush set....I can't seem to get them down to a smaller size.

Use the Photoshop version and paste the abr file into your brushes folder. It works a charm, and you should be able to resize them then :glomp:

I found a way to resize them.
