Protecting yourself from Paypal chargebacksI decided I'd write something on this since it seems to be affecting a lot of my friends and artists I'm close to. I'll start with a few disclaimers.
Disclaimer 1:
I am not a finance expert. I have never filed a chargeback nor have I been in a chargeback dispute (fortunately). I have done some research out of both curiosity and out of desire to help out the community a bit. This is going to be quick(ish) and summarized. I'm also going to be changing some things to the way I sell as well (obviously).
Disclaimer 2:
This journal isn't about what to do in a chargeback dispute but rather, how to set up your sales so that you'll have the upper hand when having to deal with a dispute. I've included some useful links at the bottom for further information!

Reading Visual Novels Using AGTH/TA/ATLAS/ITH:icononewithrussiaplz::iconsaysplz:Greetings!
This tutorial will explain to you how to read (almost any) Visual Novel in English without prior Japanese knowledge using Translation Aggregator, AGTH or ITH, and ATLAS. These programs do not modify the games files, so they should be safe to use without causing issues with developers.
I will begin with a short explanation as to what these programs are, followed by steps on how to set them up and finally some extra tips and tricks you could use to further the translations!
Feel free to ask questions through comments. Just keep in mind that I'm no expert at these programs and I myself used a tutorial to understand the basics of the programs, so I may be unable to answer some questions. Most links I supply will take you to the developer forums where you can download and ask questions about the specific program. No better help than the kind that comes from the ones who made it!

Great book for learning about pixel artI read through this a while ago and have been meaning to plug it here since I've always found good pixel art guides hard to come by and this was super helpful to me!

This book is very thorough and goes from how pixel art was originally made for old games (which I've always wondered about and find super interesting) to basic pixel art concepts and on to more advanced subjects including animation! I learned some new stuff and it clarified other things I knew about but didn't really have a clear understanding of. It's also very visually oriented so there's a lot of clear examples of the concepts covered.
