-The specimens seem to possess two layers of bones, but we have yet to understand it's components. The first layer seems to correspond to the mechanical functions, whilst the second seems to be some sort of biological armor. The first layer can move rather freely. All of it is covered in a thick membrane that could work as skin and muscle. -The eyes of the creatures seem to lack any sort of movement aside from "blinking". Perhaps the creature has a greater peripheral vision than we had expected.
