Ah, art thieves, my old friends... It's been a while!

My Pokemon Patronus designs are being stolen! I've contacted the sites about removal, but it might help if some more voices report them as unauthorised. Here:…
And Do not buy anything from these links! But find their contact pages and complain. I think they're user-submitted, not organised by the site owners, so hopefully bringing the facts to the admins' attentions will be enough.

On the bright side, I've not had anything stolen for a long time, and fell out of watermarking habits. So perhaps it's a positive sign that they're likable enough to steal?

I am kind of back I guess. Going to be putting my con prints up on here. Some of them got previewed on the comic site, but they had no permanent home. Here they shall reside. Until Perfectly Chaotic gets redone, at least.

Next convention: Calgary Entertainment Expo, April 16-19 2015, booth 513 (with Pixelated Toaster).

PS: What's the purpose of "Status Updates" versus "Journal Entries"? Seems a bit redundant. So I have redundantly re-posted this as a journal to bump the previous, eight-year-old post off my front page.

Okay, I have to go to bed, cuz I just realised I have work int morning (thought it was afternoon). But EN's all screwed right now - the front page is the June 22nd comic. I assume this means we're on the new server - toldja there'd be problems switching over! The ComicGen admins know about it, apparently we just have to wait till the new server is synced up with the old and it should all go back how it was. I think.

Whatever the case, July 13th's comic isn't finished. Lotta work needs doing on this one. You'll see. Should be done by Saturday, on the site, if it's sorted out by then, or I'll submit it here if not.
Posting an update here, case some EN readers are watching me, and wondering what gives with the no-update and downtime.

Our host, Comic Genesis is experiencing ongoing system-wide problems, causing sporadic periods of downtime, and great difficulty in getting an update to go through, hence the lack of a comic on Friday the 8th. I was able to get an update on the main page on Sunday through less-than-ideal means, but soon after that, all of ComicGen went down. Seems it's well and truly borked, and we, nor CG's admins know when it might be fixed. Nobody is as frustrated as I am by this outage (especially considering Friday's comic was actually done on time for once), and I thank you for your patience. No clue what's gonna happen next week, whether CG'll be in anything resembling a working state by then, but if all else fails I should be able to get a comic to you by editing the front page newspost, so remember to check below the main comic. The comic for Friday the 8th is in my gallery.

Edit: ComicGen is back up. But for how long? *dramatic musical cue*
Not that I have anything useful to say, but let's just bump the ancient entry and take part in a meme.

1. How does the world see you? "I Am The One" - Rancid (<Keanu>Whoa</Keanu> )

2. Will I have a happy life? "Two Princes" - Spin Doctors (I'll be... royalty... twice...)

3. What do my friends think of me? "Only the Good Die Young" - Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (well at least they think I'm good)

4. Do people secretly lust after me? "From Out of Nowhere" - Faith No More (they lust from out of -nowhere-! Blam!)

5. How can I make myself happy? "Do Da Da" - Green Day (I guess I'm easily amused)

6. What should I do with my life? "Hold the Line" - Toto (uh okay?)

7. Will I ever have children? "Franco Un-American" - NOFX (they'll be French and anti- American?)

8. What is some good advice for me? "Insect Nation" - Bill Bailey ( O__O We gotta stop the destruction of the planet! Trees not fact'ries! Or else they will take us and they'll make us HUMAN SLAVES! In an INSECT NATION!)

9. How will I be remembered? "The Moron Brothers" - NOFX (ROFFLE)

10. What's my signature dancing song? "Bob" - Rancid (perhaps it means I should dance by just bobbing up and down... that's about the limit of my dancing skillzors)

11. What's my current themesong? "She Hates Me" - Puddle of Mudd (she does? Who does? What?)

12. What do others think is my current themesong? "Run to the Hills" - Iron Maiden (others think my themesong is about white man oppressing the native Americans... others are nuts.)

13. What shall they play at my funeral? "1000 Hours" - Green Day. (Bleh. Old Green Day when they used to sing about girls. Utterly innapropriate funeral music, but bleh.)

14. What type of girls do I like? "Life is a Lemon and I Want My Money Back" - Meat Loaf (Now why couldn't -that- have been the funeral song?)

15. How's my love life? "The Other Side" - Aerosmith (Nnnnope)

That was a fun cross section of my musical leanings.
Free trial subscription for a week. Shiny. Maybe I can use it to tackle some of those oh, two-hundred-fifty-odd deviations in my message center.

Oh look, you can see what I'm listening to... *pets Rio Carbon* ^^

Things Left To Do Before Uni ends:
Finish Flash website over weekend.
Present group project on Monday.
Do a happy dance.

Now to go coerce my mouse and tablet into working reliably. I think it's battery related on both counts. Couple of new double-As for mousie, should sort it. The tablet/stylus is slightly less sensical. Much like Silv, my cursor was glitching sporadically. So I put in a fresh AAA battery in the stylus. And the tablet began to recognise it as a mouse. FYI for the uninitiated: a stylus is not a godsdamned mouse. Out of curiosity, I change back to the old battery. Pen mode is restored, glitches still present. New battery: mouse mode. Total sense made: Zero.

Hrm, here's a question. Amy, Johnny, and the remainder of this Emerald Hill set I be doing - anybody want em higher res for wallpaper? When putting pics on my other art site, I generally do a 'viewable version' to a max of 800 pixels. And then link larger wallpapers separate. But should I just upload the high res as the deviation? I tend to think the high res are too big for people on small monitors or slow connections. But then, there is the preview image...

What dya think?
You ever get that, ah, 'Dorothy' feeling? I don't think we're in Kansas anymore. I swear my room feels like it's gonna blow off the freakin house. It's an attic room, and has been modified from the original roof shape, so I only have a sloped ceiling on one side - the other side is effectively a 'box' that intersects the roof. I dunno what the walls are made of, but they seem a helluvalot thinner than the rest of the house. What that all boils down to is that when the wind buffets the house hard enough, you can feel the room shake slightly. Well, a gale's a-blowin' now. There's no place like home, there's no place like home...

Yeah, yeah, I know. Like I can complain about the elements when there are people suffering a natural disaster. I'm just sayin', is all. Britain doesn't get extremes of weather, usually. It's freaky. All that screwing around with the environment's finally gonna bite us in the arse, I just know it.

Aaanyway, I wanted to address something I've been meaning to for a while now. I have far too godsdamn many 'misc' message center items for me to ever look at. Faves and devWatches going back probly 2 months or so. I was busy and I let em pile up, and when I finally had the free time to look at em, the pile was just too daunting for me to tackle. So, I put it off some more. And they piled up some more. Now, 94 messages. Dammit, that pile of Deviations is getting mighty tall too... Gah...

What I'm getting at is this: Everybody who watched me or faved a pic - Thanks. Thank you. Very much. 'Preciate it, and I'm just sorry I haven't been able to bring you more art. That said, I'm gonna delete all those misc messages now. At the beginning, I tried to visit the page of everyone who Watched, give their gallery a glance, and post a message of thanks. It seemed only courteous, and devART just seemed a courteous place. That totally ain't gonna happen for the backlog I've got now. So, thank you, buh-bye. I'll try and stay on top of things from now on.

Probly gonna upload a deviation tomorrow. Provided I don't spend too long being indecisive about the format (which I hope to carry through on a series of pics, so I wanna get it right).

I got over 1,100 pageviews... And I've not even put up a Deviation yet. Yeah, sumthin wrong there. Thanks anyway everybody! ^^;

What's devART's policy on animation? There doesn't seem to be a category I can find, outside of Flash, which this wouldn't be. It'd be 3D, but the 3D section suggests still renders.

Oh... hang about, I never put that on Perfectly Chaotic. *scurries off to upload* First Deviation, woo!
And lo, I join the unwashed hordes of the deviantART community. Prodded into action by Neko-of-doom. What up everybody?

Not a lot to look at here. I uploaded a handful of sketchy things. I dunno whether I should bother porting all my art from Perfectly Chaotic or not. Not much point really.
