Description
Arcadian humans have a greater affinity to harness the mystical energy of the Realm of Abundance known as Pneuma compared to their more mundane Terran cousins.
This energy is responsible for the Arcadians enhanced strength and durability, longer lifespans and slowed aging, greater resistance to disease, and enhanced healing factor, thanks to generations of being exposed to Pneuma, which was passed down to their descendants as early as the gestation period.
Pneuma also serves as the fuel for magical abilities and items utilized by living creatures, which often results in their eyes glowing as a side effect. Selene here is using Pneuma stored in the diamond gem encrusted on her sword to generate a sheath of plasma over the blade of her longsword.
Hmm, that's really cool seeing Selene with her eyes glowing and I like her longsword resembles a lightsaber from Star Wars but also like Tenchi with his Tenchi-Ken and Light Hawk Wings or Ryoko with her gemstones in Tenchi Muyo:
I think that's really interesting to tell Arcadian humans from Terrans with their eyes glowing since they use Pneuma that increases their strength and speed along with longer lifespans. But I like how her crystal is embedded in her sword like Materia in Final Fantasy VII.
