First journal in...4 years. I guess I was waiting for something interesting to say lol...
Okay, so basically I'm changing my username because I want to use this place as a semi-pro account.
"Astrokevin" isn't my real name.. Ken (my real name) sounds very, very, -verrry- weird in my home country, France. So, I thought Kevin wouldn't scare off French employers away...
Now that I've been working for the past 5 years, I don't really care anymore!
About my job... I work as a designer for a 3D animation studio based in Paris. I've designed props and (more recently) sets for several cartoons:
I love my job, but the shows we do here at Method are for a very young or pre- teen audience.. So Unfortunatly, I can't really work on the things I enjoy the much: more grown-up, realistic, sci fi stuff...
So, if anyone of you out there reading this needs some designs (props, sets, vehicles), I am ready for commissions!
I'm a lazy ass and commissions could be a good source of motivation. Unfortunately I cannot work for free.. I only accept paid jobs, but I'm not that expensive..
I have deleted lots of old stuff from my gallery. Today is like the birth of a new me. Having big ambitious projects on the way, from now on, I will have to work harder/better/faster/stronger and I'll post artworks much more often here and on other art-related websites.
