(Reverting Scales) Chapter 1: An Early Dawning

A void. A black, indiscernible void, and yet it brought comfort and warmth. Its vice grip did not strangle, but coddled instead. It thrummed with energy and safety, and the thought of anything outside its calm, shielding embrace was a ridiculous notion. Still, it was alive, it seemed, and looking upon it saw it part aside for streaks of gray, like a violent storm trying to dig through the ocean. Day by day was spent like this, in the full void's embrace, with only faint mumbling breaking the mindless sleep. Lately, the mumbling was becoming more distinct, like one was approaching its source faster and faster against one's own will. It was te

N

Noropax: The Dancing Ribbon

I can feel the life running through your body. I can feel the bursts with every movement. You will dance with me, and then you will be free. There are no 'or's. Concept: Noropax weaves his micrometer-thin fibers into the bodies of his enemies. Despite their thinness, his dances can display their color at just the right angle. Many have been 'entranced' by his dances, going so far as to fight 'for' him and attack their former allies. Unfortunately, the fibers are not properly made, and so will dissolve within the tissue of the affected and be flushed from the body. Design: Noropax stands on the tips of his toes, keeping the left foot for

Sectolyst: Failed Sentient Anticounter

Concept: Sectolyst, being based upon Sentient technology, was supposed to be able to adapt and counter their abilities to control Orokin technology, and it worked...for a time. When the sentients tried to assert their control upon it, its own sentient systems would adapt and counter, allowing Sectolyst to freely dig into their circuits and rip out their virtual souls. It was for a long time that just seeing the warframe on the battlefield would cause even the Sentients to cower, but they would overcome this trial, as they always had before. It was their purpose. They were designed for it, and they were older. Like all things used by the arro

M

Macadam: Ensnaring Tar

Black tar was all that was left of our patrol. The bodies of our former comrades and some infested were partially sunken into the ground in a variety of positions, but all were reaching for the sky to the best of their abilities. They never managed to free themselves. -Grineer report on the loss of a patrol upon Mars. Concept: Macadam engulfs her enemies in the tar perpetually oozing from her body. Her deranged, uneven movements and erratic spurts of energy make her a disturbing foe to navigate around as she throws tar everywhere in a fight. Enemies are coated and stuck together, forcing them to try and remove the grime from their bodi

O'Dokurai: The drum of war

With the drum of war, the living machines ran through. A beat a step and more ensue. The wild beasts who rampaged free, controlled by the drums of the Obion Three. O'Dokurai held this gift with pride, and the Orokins' enemies were trampled in a single stride. -Damaged Orokin codex. Pieced together by an archeologist enamored by the concept of music in war. It is unknown if the rhymes are the archeologist's doing or if they are part of the original discovery. Concept: O'Dokurai brings a massive drum of war with him to the fields of battle where he brings peace of mind and control for the tenno. Their bodies and minds work in tandem, and

I did say I didn't want to come here. -An Ostron captive guiding Grineer through a murky swamp Concept: Made with the sole purpose of assassination and redirecting the fault to others around, Meeyas lurks about in mists and fog, always waiting and analyzing every fault she can find in her target's defenses and behavior. It is said that all things mist are her doing on Earth, as its natural state had long since been destroyed. Appearance: Meeyas has

Galloglaich the Highborn

If there are any threats that cannot be reached in time by the tenno, send in Galloglaich. He is quick, both in speeds to reach the threat and in cleaving their heads off. -Orokin advisor reacting to forgotten enemies reaching behind their lines. Concept: Originally envisioned as a backup soldier meant to hold the line at home, Galloglaich overperformed at this task by attracting the attention of all would-be threats and destroying them outright, leading him to become a priority threat to all those who would attack the orokin and their vassals. He died in a battle against the sentient after slaying ten-thousand and fifty-three, two-hun

Kasaya of the Calming Incense

A peaceful mind will not wage war. An agitated mind cannot wage war. A calm and collected mind can wage a war both peacefully and aggressively. Concept: Kasaya is designed to spread various types of incense in the air to calm everyone in an area. He was the one responsible for facilitating meditation during the orokin era, and was thus in direct contact with the most important individuals in Orokin society. The time spent afterwards has not lessened his abilities. Rather, they've improved thanks to the amount of plantlife that has grown in the solar system. Appearance: Kasaya's body is robed in a loose cloth with many folds laying upon
