Seems the next Tardis console room shall be wheelchair user friendly . . and maybe have a lift installed.
Fair to say thou, the console rooms of the classic series [except for the secondardy console room and maybe the TV Movie version] was always wheelchair user friendly, with the classic console rooms always having flat floors and largely nothing getting in the way around the console to knock into [except maybe that small clock seen in 'The Edge of Destruction'] because anything like a hat stand was always close to the walls.
Thou it has to be said, Peter Davison's debut as the 5th Doctor in 'Castrolvalva' is the only story I can think of that actually saw someone using a wheelchair in the Tardis . . and that was indeed Peter's Doctor himself !.
Davros, at least in an old Doctor Who Magazine comic-strip at least called 'Up Above the Gods', had also been inside the Tardis as well it seems, during the life of the 6th Doctor, seen being helped in by the Doctor, and chatting away with him inside the Cloisters.
Your Type 48 Tardis interior, out of all your designs I've seen, seems to be the most wheelchair user friendly I'd say, hence why I'm commenting on this upload instead of yet another comment posted straight to your page.
This link talks about the reported changes to the Tardis, but I feel it may include spoilers about stories currently being filmed, so if you don't wish to read it for fear of possible spoilers, than feel free to ignore it.
