Description
Vanta was born from a piece of the mirror realm that reflected all of Spectra's best traits but with an utterly twisted personality. Originally commissioned by the military as a countermeasure for Spectra, Vanta initially seemed loyal to those who "created" him, but eventually that loyalty was revealed to be false as he turned heel on his handlers and made them serve him.
Take any positive trait of who Spectra is as an individual, and then twist that into something evil. Spectra encourages people to strive for their dreams, Vanta assures them that their dreams are impossible and they should never try. Spectra helps those in need, Vanta makes their lives miserable. Anything Spectra does, Vanta will likely do the opposite. Spectra will often be chasing after Vanta, fixing any damage and saving lives Vanta actively endangers.
Is he petty? Mayhaps. But at his core, Vanta is only does what he wants, much like that which he is a twisted reflection of.
