I live in a small town. It's barely into five digits of population, one of many old hub cities whose relevance was obliterated with the completion of the I-5 corridor. It's quiet and peaceful here; It's been compared to Mayberry and other idyllic places, and is about as far from the social unrest that's been going on as you can get without living as a hermit. But the news still reaches here, and in high-def video no less. Injustice atop injustice, corruption, graft, an entire world that seems to have lost its moral compass.
And here I am in my tiny little town, unable to really *do* anything about it. I've got no platform to speak of to get my message out, no resources to help beyond donating a few meager dollars...
