So before writing this up, I needed to have a quick check through some of your previous work, comparing style and inspiration that you might be taking from.
So to start things off, I'm happy to say that you've made note of "Rule of Thirds" in the image layout, with focus coming closer to the foreground character (Assumed Protagonist?), while our eyes do naturally pass over the other notable figures soon after.
Couldn't really see if your were making use of SAI, Krita or Photoshop with the image construction, this only being brought up when checking through some of the studies images. Leaning towards SAI due to how Luminosity can bleach out the colour from an image (Seen from the tower effecting the background of I'm assuming the Red-Horned Unicorn character.) When looking for decent comparison pictures, I eventually found some inspiration with either "Alan Wake" or "Unigine Valley", the first showing harsher light effects (In a dark environment), while the shown this in a much lighter environment. If wanting the figure translucent though, the effect will also need to apply with the lines too. (As is the case of the yellow/goldish Pegasus)
With the harsh shadows produced through with the foreground winged unicorn character, may want to either expand this to also include shadows from the body and wings, or if their magic is producing light to also minimize the shadow tunnels being produced (Appearing under their body) At the moment, it appears that the light source would be their glow-in-the-dark tail.
I won't comment too hard on the linework being used for this, again I don't quite know what software is being used, same going for equipment; with the assumption that it allows for more multiple layers though might allow for some clean-up with colour bleed, again most prominent on the winged unicorn (Purple either not filled in, or leaking out of their lines)
There has definitely been some improvement going on , especially comparing to other older works that's been done; from the gallery screen the image is very competent with it clear on what you want to cover, with a nice splash of characters who may be main contenders in the story. It's only when looking at the image in notable detail that you can see where some improvements need implementing, potentially this has the chance to look even better, though this might be something to look into with further progress in the mentioned 'Fanfic'
