Do you do traditiona, digital or a mix of both?

I did sketches with ball pen on paper, which I then scanned and put together (background, different hands I tried, such stuff) and then "inked" on PC; the collars, shackles and chains I added with simple shapes (ellipses, mostly) which I then worked on to make them blend in. At last I shaded, mostly using darker and darker brushes. I sometimes used some textures, but mostly it was me and the mouse and Corel Photopaint 7 (it's from 1998, but it has all the basic features I needed). As you may understand, this took some very precise drawing with the mouse, and that got worse and worse over time. Simple images may have taken about 6 to 8 hours, the more lavish ones I guess up to 30 or even more. Sorry if that was too much information.

No a perfectly justifiable amount of information. I’m an aspiring comic artist so that all makes sense to me you should consider investing in a pen tablet as it may be easier for you although they arent exactly cheap you can clearly draw so you could use it for stuff you don’t post.I draw and ink traditionally and then scan it in to digital and add affects such as screen tones and colour.this takes me roughly 3 hours including storybording (wich can take up to an hour for 8 pages)I then move onto drawing a4 size with pencil i then ink in fine liners/chisel/brushpen/plush basically whatever I can get my hands on this all together can take me an hour.it is then scanned in to clip studio paint and touched up/coloured his can also take an hour although it can som take longer .kind of a ranted there but you get the idea

Ah, well, I'd love to hold inked versions of my favorite creations in my hand, alas I only have hundreds of sketches, and they got worse and worse ("Why bother? I'll add the detail when inking"). I like the clean look of an inked image, I've kept various "making of" stages of my images, so I uploaded some examples to the scraps gallery now and then, but nobody cared.

Yes, I too have thought about a pen tablet, but then one with an included monitor, and yeah, I didn't have the heart to shell out THAT kind of money yet.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy drawing and keep it up, despite the easy AI way... I remember getting into the flow, when you feel that all is coming together and you keep going and forget the time until you're exhausted, as an amazing ride.

Greetings to Ireland!

Absolut fantastische, hocherotische Arbeiten!
