it's been 40 years since Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends left the pages of the books and came to model life with the television series I can still remember my first exposure to it when was about 4 or 5 which was caused because someone putting a Thomas VHS in a box of Disney's Robin Hood and I just remember falling in love with the series right there

That would have been a bit of a surprise opening the VHS box! And you never regretted playing it anyway.
