She should have known not to fight
Hot blood and anger
Tagged, bagged, filed away
Questioned about the reason
I went for the kill
Sixteen wounds were inflicted
Her death means nothing
Silent during the questions
I say nothing that I saw
The questions abound
Detectives want to deduce
The cause for murder
My appearance is a clue
But what I mean is no help
Saw the entire crime
But a voiceless witness still
Unsolved it remains
Didn't say a single word
I couldn't. I'm just the knife
The Weight of High HopesI have run low on fuel
At a weary road’s end
I have withdrawn from the skies
In a fiery swan-dive
I have plunged in the surf
From the weight of high hopes
With everything and everyone
Entrusted to me
