“Where am I?” he asked.
“You’re in medbay twelve. Looks like you took a nasty bump on the head there. Oh, and one of your eyes was missing.”
Guess that explained why he was now blind in one of his eyes. He put up a hand to the blank space and felt a tightly wound bandage there.
“Not to worry,” the nurse continued. “We replaced your eye with a functioning robotic eye. Don’t touch your bandage. It’ll be a couple of weeks before we can worry about that.”

Mankind. The name alone strikes fear and dread into the hearts of the creatures of the Warden's forest ever since it and the surrounding land was settled by the people of Callous City. Before they knew it, the forest began to disappear around them. Former territories that once belonged to the animals were being swallowed up by the ever-growing city. The bad bunch of the human race is merciless. They show no love or concern for nature whatsoever. Instead, they simply destroy what gets in their way in order to realize their goals, such as city expansion. Fed up with losing their homes, the animals pled to the Warden, the guardian and protector

It goes like this:
So it starts out in this city that slowly engulfing this ancient forest that's in the middle. The city is built around it.
The main character and his best friend(s) decide to visit the forest and explore it. They have been taught all along that the forest was dangerous and should be avoided at all costs.
It turns out that the forest is just a forest. Nothing magical or dangerous about it.
So they come upon an old and nearly destroyed structure.
Despite his friends' warnings he goes on to look it over, even leaving behind a piece of trash or two.
He cares little about
