WG: Mindy Special Doodle Dump

 (Sorrey if I had been very slow with the Cookie-Adopt-thingy ... I've had a strong artist block because of a serious family situation ... Don't worry tought, i'll try to get creative with the designs these days ...) 

Today it's the B-day of my fav OC from Wallace & Gromit: Mindy! I had some ideas to make a comic or such about her 1st b-day or creation ... But since i'm a garbage at making comics and long stories, I decided to make a bunch of doodles that I wanted to make about her for soo long (And also because I don't have a drawing that focus mostly on her personality and such)

• 1) A lil' doodle I made to remember how to make her expressions ... She looks pretty excited

• 2) I wanted to represent here her love for animals, specifically rabbits 'cause they're her favorite ones thanks to their sweet-yet child-like acting and fluffy bodies. She tends to snuggle with them often when they escaped from the basement that Wallace made for 'em

• 3) There's an aesthetic called "Pastel Academia" that focus both in the seek of knowledge and cute inocense with it. When I first saw it, I tought it would be perfect to combine it with Mindy since the aesthetic combines with her seeking of knowledge and love for learning with her innocense and sweet way of being ... I mean, she looks super adorable with that outfit ...!

• 4) I've never drawed Mindy reading before ... As you know, Mindy LOVES gathering knowledge reading books and such. here, she's reading one called "The Cow always has the Fault" (it's a real book if you din't knew), Mindy's quite surprised since she tought it was going to be somewhat dumb, but results that it is ... More serious and doubtful than she tought ...

• 5) Finally I drew Mindy interacting with Gromit (again). I always seen them with a "big brother-little sister" like interactions. Being Gromit the one who tends to help Mindy to understeand situations she doesn't know or knowing what's good and bad for her ... Even if she's more open-minded than Wallace ... Even if he's a little overprotective, Gromit doesn't deny when she wants to be with him or give him a hug ... Afterall, what are siblings for ...

• 6) I tried to draw Mindy's angry expression since I realised I never drawed her angry ... It's pretty weird seeing her blinded by rage, but the only one who made her feel like that (up for now) was Victor Quartermaire. He always insulted Mindy just for thinking that she's just a machine who doesn't have emotions, she tried to resist those insults ... Until she had enough and relased all her rage stomping his foot soo hard to make him loose the bullet meant to kill Wallace ...

• 7) Another wholesome interaction between Mindy and Wererabbit!Wallace because YES ... I just like the idea of how she at first fears the wererabbit because of the Vicar's chilling sermon about the creature in the church-meeting. when she discovers that Wallace was the monster, she gets pretty paranoic and traumatized thinking that now her father hates her and would hurt her ... Until she discovers that even transformed and blinded with veg-hunger, Wallace's still himself and he would never hurt her even if his mind was rabbit-ied ... Gosh, I just can't resist to make all this fluff with these two ...!

• (8) Another practice with Mindy's expressions, this time with mild-sadness ... I tend to think that even for a small mistake that Mindy makes over one of Wallace's orders, she would feel very disappointed with herself and even think she failed ... Nethless to say, Wallace doesn't see those mistakes as a big problem, and tends to help Mindy to understeand that everyone and even the most advanced robots can commite mistakes.

• (9) Mindy was used as part of the Bunny-Brainwashing experiment as I said before in her ref. She was the middle of the conection bewteen the Mind-o-Matic and the BunVac 6000, she transmited Wallace's mind waves via her ear-tubes ... And when making that. she was making movements that look like graceful-ballet while doing soo ...
  

• (10) Wallace tends to make check-ups to Mindy atleast once in a week ... Or month. Since Mindy's golden heart makes a 8-bit-esue beat sounds to represent her mood, Wallace tends to hear 'em with a stetoscope to see what Mindy's feeling ... Tought the melody sounds a bit different, like a cushy cloud as Mindy said (basically this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=85w5rf… )
  

Honestly, I just love drawing Mindy, she's the first OC of mine that needed proper design and personality evolution trought concept to description ... And I think that's why I love her, she's simple but at the same time lovable and would be a pretty fun concept to see in Wallace & Gromit ... Happy B-day Mindy!
