Model Wallace & Gromit
Description
Aparently, there was a red moon/harvest moon that happened in the 30 of August, right? (many people said something like that, it's that true? 'Cause I couldn't see it that day ...) Since i'm still with my Wallace & Gromit hyperfixation (since March of this year lol), I decided to make a drawing based on a ... Collective fear that many suffered with the movie ... Yep, i'm talking about Wallace's plot-twisting transformation into the Wererabbit ...
I wanted to give this one a "dreaded" atmosphere, I think i've used inspiration from the "Yakwa Terror Tales" update of Cookie Run Ovenbreak (no Moon Rabbit Cookie buff, lost opportunity), some Castlevania Bloody Tears-esque atmosphere, and I tried to represent that fear that many expressed about the transformation (uncomfort, skick, crying, trauma and other negative feelings) ... The phrase that it's there was never said by Wallace, but I tought it combined well when he discovered he was the monster all along ... (And if you ask about the red eyes, rabbits biologically have that eye-color, and in my style of drawing the Wererabbit I give him red lightless eyes when angry or transforming)
- I'll be honest: when I was going to see the movie, I was scared and anxious by the comments of people that were traumatized because of it, and I exxagerated in my mind how that was going to be (or sickling-stupid, or "don't look at me" screaming with skin-ripping). But when I see the movie for the first time, the transformation ...
Yep, it was somewhat scary ngl (I still go in a anxious heart-beat with a praying pose every time I see that part), but I think people exxagerated it very much ,along with how the Wererabbit acts, (yep, he's feraly scary at first, but he's still a fluffy rabbit with part of Wallace's kind-heartness ...) ... I know many were kids from 4 to 6, but I think it's better to understeand the misunderstood, and see that behing that gigantic appareance and massive strenght, there's a fluffy-feeling of a big-hearted creature in the wrong place at the wrong time ... And that and many more reasons are why the Wererabbit it's my actual comfort character ...
