Crossover: My Faves but Sea Creatures: The Sequel

Soo... I think I came somewhat late to make a Mermay-drawing (sorry, its because we are busy with personal stuff...), but atleast I made it... You see, this drawing was going to be alot bigger, but since I felt lazy, I decided to reduce it to only my recent comfort characters of this year 2025 (along my recently adopted OC Parumi...), I also had problems since I forgot how to install new brushes to SAI 2... But atleast I could do something with the things I have... But well, less chit-chat, and lets talk about each of their designs' inspirations and such:

1) Doey The Doughman (Poppy Playtime): I told you that he became one of my new comfort characters, so you'll see him alot from now on (probably). I decided to make him as a Dumbo Octopus, there are many reasons for this, like him being very flexible like an octopus, his hat remembered me of those cartoon octopuses of the 30's, and because of a drawing in Pinterest that made a octopus-like creature very similar to him... knowing that he can change forms willingly (since he's made of clay) I think he could've taken this form without the help of Parumi... But still, I think he still looks adorable and huggable...!

2) Gregory Knight/Dogman (Dog Man): I decided to experiment with the design, using inspiration from real dogfishes (they look like tiny slim sharks), I tried to make him near to his color pallete fused with one subspecies of dogfish, along adding him fishy feactures like fins and such, I needed to modify but keep intact his iconic cop cap, since without it, he would look like a new character... I also made that his human body had scars (since I have a HC that after the bomb incident, it would be somewhat damaged), and added him more feral-like eyes... Honestly, he looks a little creepy, but still cute nonetheless!

3) Uzi Doorman (Murder Drones): Another Cecaelia... But this time, I took inspiration from both her solver form and the vampire squid (since she had some vampiric traits in her solver form). I made her hat looks like a vampire squid's head, and her body is being consumed by the solver, adding her tail's creepy eyes, teeth and veins to make it look fleshy, her tentacles have claws and glowing parts that emulate how a vampire squid's "umbrella" looks... Honestly, she looks terryfing, but I think it suits her enough...

4) Parumi the Dreamy Mermaid (Original character): Not much to say about her, but as I mentioned before, she has the abillity to transform others into mer-creatures with her dreamy powers (as its demostrated here): I had somewhat trouble to make her pose, but I think I did it well...
