(I din't readed the complete Mermaid's Tale story, so please NO SPOILERS, OKAY?) That mermaid that shines like the shiniest pearls in the moonlight, with curiosity she growed. with hopes she waited, but when the day ofher blessing came, mysteries and curiosities hitted on her pearlesent heart ... In the land she found love, in the war, she found true hurt ... But what consumed her was HATRED, becoming into her darkest reflect that feels like the darkest eclipse to occur ... Just like her dismaying curse ... Now black tears runs from her darkened eyes, and hatred full of trauma runs trought her power and mind ... Tisi it's the legend of a mermaid loved by the moon, but became eclipsed by her ambition and curiosity ... The curse of the Black Pearl Cookie
Since the Mermaid's Tale it's almost going to end (it was a fun season, the new story, the new cookies ... I even helped my bro to get the 3 Gem Mermaid guests ... It worked!), and it will give pass to The Lost Golden City update (it's about time that Golden Cheese returned ... The leaks were right ...!) ... But since I wanted to make a drawing of White/Black Pearl for soo long (she became one of my fav legendaries thanks to her backstory ngl), I decided it would be the perfect moment to make it ...!
I wanted this to be a "dark reflect-like" drawing, with the both sides of our Pearly Mermaid. For White Pearl, I used more pastel-ish colors and a full moon to represent her hopeful and innocent personality that shines like her main ingridient ... Whereas Black Pearl has a total darkened BG with an eclipse on it to represent her dark and twisted change ... And if you wonder why she's crying; I wanted to represent that brokened part of her personality that many cookies doesn't know ... Yeah, she may be ferocious and twisted when attacking, but deep inside she's hurted, broken and traumatized for what she suffered for just 1 innocent wish ...
- In conclusion: This Mermaid's Tale season was incredible ... Even if people said it was P2W and all, I think it had many interesting content and lore to explore ... I hope the adition of Golden Cheese comes with many cool things too!
