(This is me just tiring my fingers out opining about an itch my brain can't scratch; because there's only so many hours in a day and, even when you're only focusing on one story at a time, writing is HARD!)
I'm scripting a gritty fantasy heist right now--that's a fusion of a lot of things I've been reading lately, like weird fiction, cosmic horror, the thief-y side of fantasy, etc--and that's the story I want to submit to the TITAN competition this year; that's the goal, anyways. But what I want to do afterwards, after I'm done exploring this 18th century Vancian sandbox I'm currently in, is go do something that's more late medieval and much more high fantasy; in the vein of Lord Dunsany, Tolkien and Moorcock's Corum trilogy. That's really something I want to build, because high fantasy gets a lot of oh-so-fashionable flack nowadays, like it's somehow babyish or backwards; when clearly these critics didn't pay attention in English class, because blatantly fantastical stories include classics like Shakespeare.
I also want to do a fantasy story that has darker elements and visuals, like a Don Bluth movie, that also, in the same spirit, has a wholesome message and a happy ending (even if the one firming in my mind is more bitter sweet than blissful). I want to make something that my nieces and nephews will love when they're preteens or teenagers; and I want it to be a Disney musical.

Thanks for the reminder! I still haven't had a chance to read your piece... might manage a start to it, tonight!
