But, yeah: it kind of is; so, what's brought my crystalline piss to a rolling boil, you ask? Oh, nothing, my physical copy of Elden Ring just had a stroke and memory-holed about 130 hours of my life; so, now, if I want to complete the game, I have to buy a 39$ digital copy.
I'm in between jobs so, until one of the places I've interviewed finally finishes their background check and gives me my first day, splurging on something that nonessential is just out of the question. I mostly played Elden Ring in the morning to hack my ADD; to keep myself consistently nocturnal for when I go back to working overnights. Now, with my disc absolutely refusing to boot up my saves, there's no point! I can't even start over; the game just wiped its ass with one of the very few joys I can afford.
Things that give me the *ick*
Romantically, this is just a handful of my biggest red flags:
1)Anybody who says "ick" unironically.
2)Anybody who says "it's giving X!", when they mean "It's giving me X vibes."
3)Anybody who believes they can "manifest" reality.
4)Anybody who says "I feel..." when they mean "I think..."
5)Anybody who uses "literally" in place of "actually" in a sentence.
6)Anybody who substitutes "the truth" with "my truth."
7)Anybody who uses crystals like a wizard.
8)Tattoos
9)Unnatural hair colors
10)Press-on nails
11)Fake eyelashes
12)Bodymaxing bullshit like "waist trainers" or ass pads
13)Piercings in general
14)Side shaves
15)A TikTok account for anything other than business
16)A Snapchat account for anything other than business
17)An Instagram account for anything other than business
18)A Twitter account for anything other than business
19)Any business involving a parasocial relationship with strangers
20)Anybody who calls themself a feminist.

Look, I understand that subscriptions are desirable for anybody with a digital livelihood, but, without meaingful feedback, or genuine interest, a Watch on DA devolves into the internet equivalent of tipping in the States; it's not because someone actually offered a value, by investing their tender care and precious energy, it's just a compulsive nicety. For a waiter barely making minimum wage, it makes sense, for an online creator it's wildly unhelpful; and here's why:

Nowadays the block feature, for me, is just a grass roots method of protesting the innundation of AI slop and hard core porn on this site; but, I have certain misgivings about its efficacy, most because of its brutish sense of finality. Do I think fanart featuring a dummy thicc Franky from 'Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends'-- squating, knees akimbo, rolling mounds of alabaster flesh straining against her cow-spotted bikini top--her mouth agape with tongue trailing gossamer threads of spittal--do I think a blockable offense this constitutes? And all that entails? Do I think this person deserves never to see my work, and, whatsmore, to never know the reason why? No, but, counterpoint...? That shit is gross, and I don't want to see this person's *goon-addled artistry on my daily feed; and, currently, there isn't a more definite method to ensure that then the good ol' block button, so, what do I do...?
