I care if it exists at all.
I'm compiling all my references for my story time channel (which will remain nameless until the soft drop). Mostly I'm doing this bc I'm sick of having people ask me 'Hey! Are you still doing that podcast?', only to mumble-sigh 'Nnnno, that's not a thing yet. My art's not ready; I still have things to learn before I can really give the channel the polish it deserves.' ; only to have them sympathetically groan, 'Awwww, that's too bad; you're so good at drawing, and you'd do such an amazing job!'
At this point, I've realized that there's really no point in prolonging my own happiness; that every channel with animation tends to add whistles and bells as it matures--even Rebecca Parham, a Ringling-trained animator, improved spectacularly over time--not all at once--so why should I kneecap my dreams because I can't render like Marc Brunet, or animate like Telepurte, or casually scratch together comic book covers like Frank Cho in one sitting (in front of hundreds of people while answering questions? wtf!)? I wanted to write thoughtful snark people could mostly listen, but, also, watch; but, yeah: mostly to just listen to for up to 20 to 60 minutes while they're out and about doing grungy productive bullshit. Perfection is the enemy of the productive just as "good" is the enemy of "great"; there comes a time when you have to throw up your hands and say, 'Fuck it!' and create for the sake of creative satisfaction. You can't improve if you never subject your work to criticism, so, that's why I'm making a hard deadline:
I'm going to have my Bard avatar (at least in his first incarnation) hand-drawn and colored (cell-shaded or flat-colored) by New Years. I'm still grinding through the first full length novel I'm going to review (bc I want to spare the ones I deeply love from the growing pains of my earliest production), so that's going to feature at the end of January.
I'm also going to have my first short done, however, by New Years as well.
For anyone wondering, my channel's aesthetic is primarily inspired by RPG story time channels, like Den of the Drake and Kooh's Library, and story theory channels like Overly Sarcastic Productions, but with more pop culture critiques, so much more epiphet-riddled syntax, al'a Razorfist, Clownfish TV, Critical Drinker, Mauler etc.

Progress...?
DA has a Block limit? Excuse me, WHY!?
I'm not a fraud. I know how to draw.
I give you a watch just let me know.
