BUT! I should learn painting to help me cell-shade (which is about the most I want to do with any of my projects online). I'm not trying to be Marc Brunet or Samdoesarts or Nameaprofessionalasskickerhere--none of that! Iii'm just interested in learning how to cell-shade an OC with key frames so my story-time narration show has a mascot/avatar while I do deep dives into pulp writers, like Robert Chambers, Shirley Jackson, Anne McCaffrey, Jack Vance, Robert E. Howard, Lovecraft, Lieber, Lord Dunsany, Michael Moorcock, etc; talking about the stories that inspired them; how they inspired modern fantasy; introducing teenaged boys and young adults to amazing stories, like Jackson's 'The Lottery', Chambers' 'The Repairer of Reputations', Howard's 'Conan: Xuthala of the Dusk', Lovecraft's 'Nameless City', Dunsany's 'The Wonderful Window'; and I'll be narrating the first chapters of books they've likely never heard of, like:
