Tbh, I wasn't quite satisfied with the line art I've already posted; and, yeah, some of that (most of it) stems from not staying strictly on-model with the face, but, also I just felt like I was taking two steps forward and one step back. Specifically, I knew I could touch up the face if I played around with the Liquify tool. (Nothing insane, mind you, just little nips and tucks appreciating into stunning, but subtle improvements). I was advised (Years ago!) that my character choices were kneecapping my female OC's. The feedback, as blunt as it was at the time, came with healthy feedback, a visual demonstration to refute every one of my bad decisions; they made the eyes more angular, farther apart and smaller; they made the forehead bigger and pushed the hair closer to the skull; they reduced the size of the nose and the lips, etc.

The difference was stark; and I applied the advise back then to this drawing in the present.

I found out my OC loves the blues, because, when I was tugging and puckering and blowing up her details, that's what I was playing: and it fit beautifully.
