Description
So I accidentally lost all my Notes for this (fuck!) aaaand, now, I have to do a sloppy summation. (Let's hope it's worth a damn.)
1)Use an airbrush for the swell shadows and then a hard brush to sculpt the illustrious and oh-so coveted tear drops for the oppai. Then do the same thing for the underboob, using a soft air brush to soften the edge while building a distinct terminator (I did not do this, I only smoothed out the core shadow and added a bounce light).
2)The booba pull against the inner pecks, rolling down and out toward the armpits across the barrel of the ribcage, so the center of the chest is brightest part of the female figure, bc it basically presents like a shelf. The shoulders are farther back from the chest, so the shading on them, for the whole basic light spectrum, is naturally darker.
3)Light defines the abdominal wall, particularly the lower abdominals just as much as shadow; the wall below the navel tending to jut out the most, being the least trim due to its proximity to the stomach, the first pit stop for fat storage in the body and, therefore, one of the hardest to sculpt. As a rule the couple of abdominals (or "pack") just above the navel tends to cast the most shadow as the darkest part of the shallow cave beneath the ribcage. Unless the subject is insanely fat, that's usually the case.
3)Use a soft airbrush to push the abdominal wall under the ribcage before the the pelvis and the stomach jut forward.

Hey, isn't the upper strip Iahfy's tutorial?
She's a great artist, it's a shame that she doesn't use dA... On the other hand, maybe it's better for her, given what this site has done lately.
