Uh, yeah, it's, um...not great. It actually, in point of fact, genuinely sucks ass; but at least it's informative ass.
To start, this was actually the most challenging still life I've yet done, because of the die's multiple planes; with each sharply delineated from the other, and each demanded tremendous subtle in shading. The lego head was equally difficult; and me forgetting to turn the reference back to 100% opacity didn't help things, at all! But each study is 30 minutes, so, I'm not going to run it back. I'm just going to junk it and move on.
Skill-wise, this isn't a step backwards; just some mistakes were made, and the overall composition of the reference was just a massive leap in difficulty. The forms (mostly) can speak for themselves, however, and the planes are (mostly) distinguishable, so I refuse to beat myself up about this one. Nobody bats a thousand.
