Welp, I'm back at it. (It's been a minute, tho!)
This was a fun 30 minute jaunt (didn't go quite the way I'd like, but, that's par for the course). I went a little ham with the eraser i use for highlights (because I was trying to smooth the silhouettes around the forms), but, whatever. It's really not a big screaming deal; I'll do better next time:

Looks good to me. One thing, though; if you squint to read the tonal scheme, you'll see that the hot spot in the center of yours is bigger than that of the reference. I'm talking about the grade from brightness in the center of the panel to darkness at the edges, as would show most clearly if you removed all the objects and just had the light shining on the ground plane.
