Pharis grayscale

I really like your greytones, they have so much personality and bring the sketches life! For some reason in full colours some of the charm of the sketches and these greytones seem to be lost but that is somewhat common with digital artworks. I think it may have something to do with the shading. Usually a bit of opposing colour in the shadow gets the job done better than simply having a darker tone of the same colour that is on the lighter part. However, some like it a lot that way too because it is more cartoony and easy to look at so it comes down to personal preference a lot.
