Description
Yyyeah, so, I tried to block out the other pose so I could build a mask and slap on enough anatomy to inform where all the clothing folds would go, buuuuut that got fucked sideways because, in the case of the first pose, I couldn't physically SEE the torso; which, for me, at my level, made it basically a pointless, time-suck trying to puzzle out the structure, and, thus, the mask, the anatomy, and all of that before even touching the Bard's character details.
I found an alternative reference (which, infuriatingly enough, was the pose for the Bard I wanted from the outset...!) It's basically at the same camera angle, so the horizon line still functions, and I still had the OG reference stockpiled in my Pinterest folder; so, yay: I shaved minutes off my redraft time thanks to hours of obsessive compulsive pose-trowling.
Still. Slow and steady progress IS progress.

I don't understand why you don't draw a pose directly. You can do it. Some use those horrid 3D models to get past road blocks like this. Anyway, looks good to me, but, of course, technically, it's way over my head. Press on.
