Apparently, this manga is a manwhah (manwah?) -- in any case its name is 'Veil'. I'm keen to study this artist more in the future, maybe continuously as an ongoing student of their aesthetic. There's a delicacy and a clarity in their line theory I'm keen to incorporate in my own.

The more I study traditional ink, the more I want to capture the spontaneity-- that urgency and humor--that comes with a bloody pen; from that race to make a line before an ink blot makes a mess. That struggle forces you to be economic with your expressivity, every line needs to mean something because, while you can with traditional media doctor a mistake, the paper betrays errors to more than just the trained eye.
