Description
The Dalek Empire will utilise any and all means at its disposal to advance its conquest of the universe, even if they must occasionally tread a slower path.
The Ambassador Class Daleks represent this goal; they are a specialised branch within the Dalek hierarchy called the Antalin Division, deployed in diplomatic capacities across diverse sectors to forge political and strategic alliances with non-Dalek entities. Renowned for its soft-spoken demeanour and charismatic personality, this caste adeptly assumes a social chameleon-like role, fostering ties and relationships through methods typically deemed uncharacteristic of a Dalek, such as attending social functions and participating in the consumption of food.
This enables the Dalek Empire to counteract what it claims to its allies to be unfair negative perceptions cultivated by other major empires and factions against them.
The Ambassador's envoy is comprised of Attendants who act as servants and guards but are also utilised for more discreet espionage and intelligence gathering activities.
The casings of these particular Daleks are constructed with the finest Arkellis sap-infused Dalekium and exposed ruby ray, exhibiting a rare elegance not commonly associated with the traditional Dalek.
These efforts serve the long-term interests of the Dalek Empire. For example, when an Ambassador Dalek brokered a trade agreement with the rulers of the non-affiliated planet Litharos, this agreement facilitated the transportation of newly discovered Taranium deposits through Galactic Federation territory. These were vital to the Empire's war efforts in that sector. In return, the Daleks provided security against Earth Alliance's repeated attempts to annex Litharos. Litharos is now recognised as an 'independent' planet under the Dalek Empire.
