Thanks man. I remember spending ages trying to get the hair to look right. I tend to draw more geometric things in my work, so an 'organic' element was tricky, haha.

And the rain is freehand. Here's the trick: I speckled the metal with by paint (by lightly pressing down on the cap, so it sputters out), wait about ten seconds and then swiped my bare arm across the piece to smear the dots. Very effective, no?
