Luna - Oh Hello Dear

when I saw this piece, and saw that the artist was wanting critique on it I thought to myself I must. This is gorgeous work and deserves an in depth review. So, forgive me as I ramble on and go into far to great detail on all the rating categories.

To rush a bit through the first two, I rated only middling on vision and originality because, well, its just Luna standing. Its not bad, its well done, but its still not a very visionary piece. Which is nothing wrong with it, in fact the more critiques I write the more I dislike those two categories.

No technique, that is marvelous! I vector myself but in nothing close to show style, and this, this is a very nice crack at matching the show's art. I bow to any who try, its a very simple looking yet complex to execute style. Then well, its just a very, v very nice vector. Your lines are clean and smooth, your colors are crisp and the shading is lovely.

However, then there is that one thing that seems to me to be detracting from the image. Luna's mouth seems a little bit off. The upper lip is a just a bit too narrow in my opinion. Makes her face seem just a hair awkward. its no huge error but I can't help but think it is one, And that is detracts from a beautiful piece.

That is also what made me shave a star off of impact, as I feel it is lessened a tad from the facial structure being off.

However, overall this is a very stunning work, and very nice vectoring.
