Susan is a Cyborg. She is in love with her sentient hovercraft named Tarkus.
Tarkus is also madly in love with Susan.
The two lovers found a way to put Tarkus's mind into the body of a good looking killer named Six Finger Jim.

Here's Tarkus as a ship.

Here's Susan seducing the outlaw.

Playing around with color ideas, suggestions are most welcome!:)

I like the soft surreal sort of color you've added to this one. It's a nice effect. :)

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with how this came out.
I realizing color doesn't have to realistic in drawings for them to still work.

The un realistic colors in this, work well. They seem to give it more of a mood or a feeling.

I agree!:) But I feel it's not quite where I want it.
I wonder if there is a way to sort of "master" surreal color the way people can with more traditional pallets.

I think there is a way to 'master' it, to make it do what you want. However, the best way to do that is to keep trying to do it. Figure out what you want it to do. I suppose looking at works that achieving elements of what you're trying to do will help as well. :)

Yeah, I should do more studying of work I admire.
But part of me just loves the happy accident. When you change
the hue/saturation on an image half way through and it gives it a whole new feel.

Yeah. That can be fun too.

Sometimes it's better if it isn't. :)

I'm not sure what you mean, I don't want to water color on the original.
The violet shadows sound like a great idea!:)
